Hi guys,

Just wondering whether it is ok to send the Aeon balance transfer form to their email instead of faxing it. Thanks.
*
Can. I've done that before.

That's great. So I can send to their customer service email right?

Sorry just saw this - was away for the long weekend. The answer is yes.

Based on my previous and recent experience with AEON BT (just received the confirmation call at 1pm and SMS approval at 5.30pm today!), this is what I did:

1. Print the Unbilled Transaction from PBB online. I circled the Amount Outstanding and highlighted it.

2. Apply for BT using the Amount Outstanding and e-mail the form to AEON Credit customer service.

3. Attach the print out PLUS first page of the earlier PBB full statement (this is what they requested based on my previous experience).

I had no problem getting RM36k approved. Timeline below:

Mon 15 Aug: Submitted forms via e-mail

Wed 17 Aug: Received call at 1pm to confirm BT application. Received SMS approval at 5.30pm to inform that BT application approved.

Super efficient.

Agree. I have a similar experience in that AEON is actually ok with a printout of outstanding amount as long as you include the first page of the previous month's statement which proves that particular credit card belongs to you.

Possibly, the slow response = pool exhausted?

The admin charges for the MBB BT 0% that I did on the 22nd of Aug still hasn't been waived.. I am guessing the allocated pool was already exhausted on that day.

It has been extended to 31st March 2018...
It takes 30 working days to credit back to you and is usually done on batches, so gotta wait for a while I guess. smile.gif
*
Ah you're right. I forgot about the 30 days rule. Fingers crossed.

FYI Maybank BT via M2U only works on credit card numbers (they do a validation check - you won't be able to click on Next if the account number doesn't meet the credit card format). Might work for you if RHB's Easy Loan account number is also 16 digit etc.

No ideas about Maybank BT application via email or PBB.

is this still available??? I don't have 15k available limit now so I can't see it. Thinking to make some payment to apply for this BT. Anyone can verify?
*
Yes, I can confirm it is still available.

Correct me if I'm wrong

Let's say now I take the HLB 0% 6 months BT of RM15K

every month I can just pay the minimum amount from month 1 to 5, but just need to settle the full amount at month 6 without incurring any penalties, right?

If that's the case, I can apply for another banks 0% BT like Aeon to cover the month 6 settlement, correct? hmm.gif
*
Yup. Just keep in mind the timing - there are charges for early settlement (as in when you pay it off before the end of the 6 mths).

thanks, is Aeon's 0% BT also can pay monthly minimum like HLB? only need to settle full on the 6th month?

or any other bank's CC is similar like HLB's?

If there are, means we can keep on rolling the initial 6 months BT with multiple CC without any charges for years?
*
Nope, AEON and PBB BT are 1/6 of the amount every month.

I'm allowed to do BT to UOB at 0% for 6 months without statement. This is one off deal for my new additional card for UOB.

For those who have applied before for UOB, may I know if the account no. generated can be BT-ed out to other banks?

I'm still thinking if I should straight BT to MBB for 12 months 0% or BT first to UOB and pay minimum (since it allows with no interest) for 5 months and only BT out on 6th month if MBB still has promo that time?
*
I've seen the other answers, but in my experience, I was able to BT from my UOB BT account to Maybank.

I was not able to do the same for HLB BT accounts because of the funny account number.

M2U no longer displays the link about the 0% BT fee offer at the plan selection screen.

Whew... last M2U BT application on 23 Oct, Money transferred on 24 Oct
No approval SMS/email received though.

Same, didn't get the SMS etc. Was wondering whether my application went through, then noticed the amount had been transferred to my other cards.
