can you be more specific to which bank/BT type are you referring to?

some banks and/or some BT type have different behavior. eg UOB BT itself got 2 type

they create a special BT account

this bt account behavior doesnt work like CC account

if the bank doesnt ask for statement, then they wont know your outstanding balance anyway

system issue may happen from time to time

you're just making unfounded accusations as we dont know what is really happening

also, the "secure plus" solution may rely on external service to operate (which may not be developed by rhb itself)


since you're not happy with rhb, then perhaps can choose another bank lor

you wont be paying "full amount" in your mbb card.

once your BT application approved, you'll see the 1st installment dropped into the card acocunt the next day.

1st, most banks aware of this method and disallow such transfer.

2nd, you may do this if the excess fund is genuinely error/mistake (eg wrong amt transfer, etc)

3rd, up to bank's discretion if they found out the fund is actually from BT, rather than transfer from an individual.

4th, yes, you may try and successful to do this. but nobody can guarantee bank will always allow this for you (repetitive transfer).

in short, do this sparingly or none at all. if excess is small, keep it there to offset/advance payment for your next statement cycle.

contact MBB to release the remaining 'reserved' balance back into the card.

then you can settle whatever outstanding on the card itself.

yes, you can keep doing it from multiple banks BT.

just remember to request bank for early BT settlement first (those with fixed monthly bt installment)

paying extra won't automatically clear off the outstanding BT.
