QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Jan 3 2017, 03:44 PM) Yepp. Will earn points from paying with CC (still planning which card I should use to pay - most likely AEON), then 0% BT to PBB and pay over 6 months. But claim the cash from company (process in Jan / Feb payroll). Not too bad. Yes. I'm planning to swipe with MBB visa signature next month for airfare tickets.0% BT is really useful in these kind of situations! Then using the same method as yours BT to PBB. However my PBB gold card annual fee is approaching, most probably next month since my expiry date embossed on card stated FEB. If annual fee can be waived then stick to plan, if can't need to find alternative way. |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Jan 3 2017, 03:54 PM) Have you thought about applying for AEON cards? For me, I use PBB and AEON for BT. Oh ya. Forgot to mention AEON.AEON just a bit more troublesome for the following reasons: 1. Only once every 6 months, so you're a little restricted in timing and have to plan for big ticket items 2. Need statement (again, restricted in terms of timing, and doesn't work for those who want to BT more than statement amount) However, AF is easily waivable and AEON is quite a nice card for miscellaneous spending. Yes i have AEON and i'm allowed to apply BT after statement posted in February where it will be 6/6. |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Feb 6 2017, 12:32 PM) Has anyone done an AEON BT application recently (in December / January)? Yes i believe i faced the same situation.I submitted my e-mail on 25 Jan (just before CNY) but have yet to receive any acknowledgement etc. Just wanted to check how long it normally takes. I know that there are delays during CNY period, but its been 12 days already, so it seems quite slow. I tried calling CS today, but no one picked up after 3 calls. AND, when I emailed CS, I received an automated response saying: "The recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages now. Please try resending this message later, or contact the recipient directly". Seems like everyone is still on holiday!!!! Thanks in advance. Then i called CS and tell them the mailbox is full, answer some few verification questions, then call on-hold, then CS told me to send email again after two hours. I sent the BT application form like 4 hours after i made the call and it was successfully sent. Then it takes like the next working day Aeon called me back to verified my application and then the next day SMS sent to me stating BT successful. Next afternoon payment reflected to both banks that i request to transfer. I replied once in the Aeon thread, and i assume they used IBG to transfer the money instead of cheque now. |

QUOTE(David900924 @ Feb 10 2017, 12:02 PM) HSBC always offer 0% even if u not new customer, all you need to do is request for cancellation card and reason for BT purpose only, then they will offer you 0%, 6 months, monthly repayment = total BT amount/6 months. Is it?the condition is never swipe for anything else except BT due to interest charge. I have apply islamic and non-islamic which both have separate CL for BT purpose at 0% 6 months. Then might as well apply hsbc card just for BT purpose. |

Sharing my recent BT for CIMB using PBB.
Outstanding in CIMB RM5k. Transfer to PBB min RM6k (Overpay 1k) Call in to CIMB CS request to transfer overpayment to my SA. CS informed not possible to do so, ONLY able to transfer back to the source of payment and need to attached proof of payment. Hence i attached PBB unbilled transaction to CIMB CS and request was directed to relevant department to transfer the fund back to PBB CC. |

QUOTE(tbheng @ Feb 16 2017, 09:02 AM) Hmmm, this is interesting. Yeah i agree it's all about timing.I normally srart applying new aeon bt when 6/6 appear in stmt. Question: If apply new bt when 6/6 appear in unbilled, when stmt come out will carry both the old 6/6 and new 1/6 in the same stmt? I guess it is all about cashflow timing. See when u hv the highest cc o/s from others cc. I am in the same situation now.... not easy to layout both projection senario (apply now or wait for next mth) with crisscrossed bt running. When I have a big spending and the time coincide where 6/6 posted, i will definitely apply for the BT. At normal case, i would wait after i clear off the installment then only i apply the BT. |

QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ Mar 15 2017, 02:19 PM) My UOB BT seems to be approve already. I see they created a separate cc account for it. Am I right to assume that the they will generate a statement for this and i need to do the payment into this new account? after the 6 month BT term has ended they will just close this account? Is this UOB BT just for new card holder? |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Apr 12 2017, 02:13 PM) I just sent them an e-mail at 10.37am today and it was fine. Sometimes their inbox is full. fruitieYou have to call CS and they will arrange for them to clear inbox. It is quite ridiculous... I have done it before. Same. Experienced it as well. CS will request you to wait 1-2 hours before sending in another email. |
