If I transfer 9k from Maybank to Aeon credit, it will charge 1.5k every months to my aeon credit card for 6 months?

Got upfront fee & need statement, not so attractive although the max bt limit is given up to 50k subject to cc limit

How much is the effective interest rate translated from the 1% upfront fee?

0% BT with 1% upfront fee. Eg: If BT 10k, upfront fee = rm 100, other than that no interest charged unless you late payment

Emailed BT application to Aeon last night and received call today. During the verification process, CS asked how i made my last payment, through which bank, which I replied PosOnline?? CS is like..ok correct..LOL

Just now I call to AEON to enquire about the BT... was informed that I can based on last month Statement (even if it is past due) as supporting for my BT application as I told that I still need to wait for the statement to deliver to me, if they take 15 business days (as per the standard policy) to process, by the time I receive my statement + 15 business days will ended up with overdue payment. So, the CS checked and advise that I can submit with last month statement, i.e. May statement.

Also, she advised me to call them after I send them the form to confirm they have receive my application, and I can call them after 7 working days to check application status.

Hmm....so if to get the 1% entitlement, have to apply from 20 June - 30 June....not sure why they designed it in such way...probably to spike up their unsecured loan take up rate every month?

AEON BT process:
1. Submit form and statement on 7th June, Tuesday 5:30pm
2. Call to CS to confirm receipt on my email for the BT application on 8th June
3. Received call from AEON to verify my details at 11:50am today..
4. Received SMS at 5pm stating my BT application has been approved.

Now waiting them to credit the fund

-Maybe pay 95% during first 6 months, then let the balance 5% subjected to 0.30% interest?
-or it has to be paid by fixed amount??

bsn is not stupid

the bt amount is distributed evenly across the 12 months for monthly repayment

so even if u pay 95% for first 6 months, you are overpaying your credit card, not reducing balance

i think that transcalte into 1.84% EIR per annual.

Same as the one stated in first post. After email, better call up to check whether they receive.. AEON charge to my card on 9 June, but I haven't receive the payment to BT bank yet..
