Well, architecture required you to move around, do alot of studies. For Architecture student, you need DISCIPLINE, in order to balance your studies, personal time & etc.

if want to work part time, still depends on what part time job you work.... But you want to work, evaluate your time management....

For my case, things are getting urgent; I will only be having this final week of year 2007 to perform any decisions! shocking.gif

I have already decided on Architecture, but I still have not decided on the university/college!

The following are my present decision results;

1: I have decided on private colleges/universities. (Now I would just need to select the most ideal/suitable one; education quality, distance from home, etc...as such...)

2: I have decided not to be swayed by the "Accredited or not?" question; which is certainly placing me into a dead end. (I would not mind taking the required Malaysian Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 examinations later on, after I have graduated, as long as the exam is in the English language!) [I do not know any other languages except English and Mandarin to be honest...I don't expect the exams to be in Mandarin though!!] biggrin.gif

3: I have Taylor's College and UCSI in mind. (Although a good university it is, I have more or less ruled out Limkokwing due to it's great distance factor from my home.)

Based on my memory power now (Because the UCSI's website is currently down...), I remember that UCSI offers a Bachelor of Applied Science in Architecture Science; similar to the Limkokwing's Architecture Degree, exactly with the same title as well. (That should be equivalent to Part 1 Architecture right?)

Right now, the competition is between Taylor's Architecture course and UCSI's Architecture course! biggrin.gif

I have to make the most ideal/suitable decision!

Please help me and advice me if you can.

Added on December 24, 2007, 1:07 pmBTW, I was told that Taylor's have plans to offer the Bachelor of Architecture in their new flagship state-of-the-art lakeside university campus; which would be completed in the year 2009. (By then, I would still be in their Diploma program.) smile.gif

Looks nice, and sounds nice.

In the future, would my "Diploma in Architecture" from Taylor's give me the option to further my Architecture studies in any other universities? (Including oversea universities? - other than the university of Melbourne of course.)

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi ben, glad that you have make the decision to study architecture. Please be firm in your decision making, don wan later after 1 yr of studying then you regret.

From i heard of, most of the lecturer for taylor & UCSI are from LKW. I heard that both are quite competitive in terms of syllabus, but the name is different.

U plan to do locally? or learn to be independent? Locaaly, u have everything prepared for you. as you do internationally, u need to consider of alot of factors.

Basically, when u finish ur diploma, you can go for part I... u might consider of completing all ur studies before sit for Part I & II .
