Hi maxis

No bullshit here
I am gonna be frank

My Wife using ivalue100
With the recent data increase announce by ur CEO for maxisone users
May I know are u planned to revamp ivalue plan as well?
Rm98 for 5gb data while rm100 stuck at 2gb

Kindly let me know

Ps: I already ported out in Jan and never look back
Wife still under contract but calculation showed still cheaper to port out, pay penalty and the monthly commitment with no contract from umobile

Cheers

This is their standard response on their fb page

"we encourage you to get on board the MaxisONE plan. Our MaxisONE Plan provides the greatest value with superior and unique features like MaxisONE Share, MaxisONE World and Zerolution, so we would like you to enjoy the benefits by signing up for the plan."

for ivalue user, the best way is to upgrade to 128plan while remain the contract.
that is the current solution.
I just upgrade my ivalue 100 plan to one plan 128 while remain the contract.. after contract end, I will downgrade it to one plan 98 package

It is allowed . u can even upgrade to mop98 if u manage to ask for their manager approval .

Upgrade to mop128 and above can be done anytime , as it is an upgrade with extra revenue for maxis .

It doesn't matter how many months contract left , some CS will tell u only can upgrade on the last 4 months of ur contract right ? They juz bs u

Better check with Maxis how much penalties you need to pay for early contract termination. Then, make a simple calculation how much you lose/save if you simply pays the penalties and port out.
I just paid my penalties and go MNP. Still save me a lot of money compare to suffer with maxis for remaining contract balance of 8 months.

mine feb next year, hence, i will try to change to MOP 128 first for the time being
hopefully will succeed
if their CS give me hard time to change
i will MNP,even if pay penalty plus monthly payment for orange telco
in 10 months time will break even

I just switched to DiGi78 postpaid for 7GB data. Price-wise it's similar to what I've been paying for Maxis which is RM68 for 4GB data alone. Digi got more perks like free Spotify streaming, free cloud hosting etc. Don't think I'll ever run out of data again haha.

I just came from Maxis Cust Service. I have 2 lines still under contract, and they said I couldn't upgrade those! Damn inflexible. What is the harm I upgrade plans as the money (and subscriber) still remains in Maxis? As a result, I am pissed now and will port out, even if I have to pay penalty. Principle of the thing.

If they really are sincere and want to make good to their customers, why discriminate against plans? If I had known, I would not have taken those plans earlier. And then not give me the chance to upgrade to those plans. Left cannot move, right also cannot move. In the end, I just have to move out.

Contract-free? Does this means you can downgrade to MO98 anytime?

Will iValue - MO128 - MO98 package change works?\

And I agree, we iValue1 users got fked up pretty bad. MO98 is strictly superior than iValue1. We are forced to pay extra for nothing.

What's wrong with u people. Maxis rocks! Today i ran out of data, i called their customer service asking them to feed me more data since i have another 2 days for the cycle to renew. Can u imagine my surprised they actually waive me the fee for an extra 1GB. Maxis is the best among the sea of cheating telcos!

Honestly i am pretty happy to stay with maxis with their current offer for the reasons below.

1. Their LTE speed is one of the best i've used and service coverage has been good and satisfying.
2. My mobile data consumption is probably max at 3GB a month so having 5GB is like a big bonus already.

I managed to upgrade mine from iValue2 (RM155) to MOP 158. Initially, CS was reluctant saying can only upgrade to higher iValue plan. After much negotiation, the CS called and allowed me for the upgrading to MOP 158.
