Has anyone of you received an email/call from any scholarships that you applied? (etc : Star, Maybank, BNM & others)

p/s : Some of my friends have gone through the round 1 assesement by Maybank and also BNM interview lol

My sister also has not received any yet. She called the star and they said they are sending notice gradually. Did you get any interview invitation from Khazanah, Maybank and BNM?

I applied to Sime Darby, Shell, Yayasan Khazanah and Genting scholarship. So far only gotten replies from Khazanah.

I applied for Petronas, Maybank, JPA Engineering and ASEAN scholarship. Went for Petronas Youngstars Day on Tues, done the online assessment for Maybank and just got their call on Friday to attend an interview next week.

I applied for Shell, YTM and Star. I already got a reply from Shell and they've rejected me. :/

YTM has invited me to the next stage.

No news on Star yet. (geddit? :B It's a pun. Hehehe)

Received reply from Shell saying that I got rejected.

Maybe you need straight A+ plus representing Malaysia for competitions only can get scholarship. The more perfect you are, higher chances to secure scholarship.

Actually you've met the requirements but due to strong competition, whether you're shortlisted or not depends on your luck.

If network is poor, need to work extra hard by getting assistance from frens/relatives

I've applied and received email for the interview from Sin Chew, Star, Khazanah(Stage3), Maybank(Stage1), and Taylor's World Class scholarship.
I heard that The Star email will be sending along April to June. It depends on the University that u applied... Chill, calm down and all the best to u

A few bad apples don't define all the scholars. Sure, some of them probably aren't hardcore poor, but their sponsors might just be looking for talents in general. He may have made his assumption based on "his friends", but I live with a bunch of scholars every day.

I applied foundation in science leading to optometry in UCSI... But I'm sending them an email to clarify choice of course chosen. They replied me saying that I may request for a change of course to the panels during interviews.

I've received an email from MyBrainSc to take an online quiz, and a letter from the MEXT (Monbukagakusho) Japanese Government Scholarship to attend an exam. Has anyone heard from Great Eastern or Sime Darby yet?

If want high changes, try Kuok foundation half loan half grant. Is more for lower income family. You may try out NUS or NTU, Kuok foundation also got study scheme for that. Can apply others like Tan Chong Motor, JPA, Shell, Petronas, IOI scholarship etc. Between I was one of the Kuok Foundation half loan half grant scholar. Graduate long time ago.
Just to share past year statistic, my time like lowest score using STPM for kuok foundation is CGPA 3.67.

Telekom and security commission already interview, well that meabs u didnt get em unfortunately.

How bout GE KPMG and lions group?
