Hello bosses,

I believe that you've heard of Xiaomi (Mi). Xiaoyi (Yi) is a company bought by Mi that manufactures smart devices. Their three flagship products are:

1. Yi Home Camera - http://mistore.my/products/yi-smart-camera
2. Yi Action Camera - http://mistore.my/products/mi-sports-camera
3. Yi Dash Camera - http://mistore.my/products/mi-smart-car-camera

Our company has just gotten the sole distributorship for Yi Malaysia. We are going to launch a series of product marketing and open at least 20 Yi stores across Malaysia. Now we are looking for state representative to share this business opportunity. We are looking for Penang, Johor, East Malaysia and other state reps (KL and Selangor states are taken). For those bosses who are interested, please send the following details to info@wisecommerce.my. We will contact you soon after receiving and filtering.

a. Your existing company details, business & products
b. Your current average monthly sales
c. Your proposed covered state / cities
d. Your proposed channels/plans to sell these Yi products at your covered state / cities
e. Minimum first order amount in RM that you planned to invest

Just a brief on our channels distribution plan. We are going to launch the official Yi Malaysia online store very soon, then followed by at least 20 Yi stores and distribute to over 99 retailers across Malaysia, gradually in 5 years time. Totally by the 5th year after all these distribution points are opened, it's an estimated RM46.7 Mill annual sales business.

You might have said, there are already tons of Yi online sellers out there. Be rest assured, once we've launched our first channel i.e. official Yi Malaysia online store, these parallel online sellers will not be able to sell anymore. Yi Shanghai HQ will be sending us a legal warning letter for us to forward to third party platform such as Lazada, ebay, lelong, 11street etc to stop their unauthorized merchants. Furthermore, Yi apps will be upgraded to block the local usage in Malaysia of those China version CCTV. In other words, you can only use our distributor's version of products here in Malaysia. This is how they protect distributors globally.

Some might ask how much capital needed for this state rep and terms & condition. We now need capable partners who are passionate in this brand and experienced in selling similar products. Capital wise will be depending on the physical market size and order amount. More importantly, we are here to support and help you to grow as well as to launch this brand at your area together, unlike those typical sold-and-you-are-on-your-own type of dealer business. If you are selected to be our state rep, you will be representing Yi Malaysia, as part of us. Therefore, we will need to carefully review your current company, business and sales details before setting your state coverage and order amount. Hope this makes sense to all bosses.

If you have any question, please feel free to contact me at 010-2313249 or I will answer your questions here as well. As for the distributor agreement and complete channels distribution plan, I will be sharing with you during the meet up. We are a very transparent company and our core businesses are eCommerce partner and product distributor. Feel free to check us out via our company website http://wisecommerce.my

Lastly I would like to share an article (in Chinese only unfortunately) about more than 2Mil Yi home cameras are sold - http://news.zol.com.cn/573/5733784.html. Don't miss this golden opportunity and join us now!

Thanks bosses!

Your site look like another e-commerce site.
Too good to be true.
We all know xiaomi don't official do large distribution unless you import from China and resell here.

I haven't heard any news regarding buy over xiaoyi. Any supporting links to enlighten?

Hi,

As stated in the first post of this topic, the detailed channel implementation will be shared with potential state rep during meet up. To summarize as a brief, we will be implementing three exclusive channels i.e.

1. Official Yi Malaysia online store - also delivers to 8 Southeast Asia countries
2. At least 20 Yi stores across Malaysia - detailed proposed location will be shared during meet up
3. At least 99 retailers chains across Malaysia will be distributed

All these will be implemented gradually in 5 years time. We will start with the online store and a couple of Yi stores in Klang Valley in first year.

I hope I have answered your question. To know more in detail, please submit all the necessary documents as stated in first post in order for us to review and arrange a meet up.

Thanks!

We started with MiSTORE.my as a parallel importer and reseller and this obviously is not an official site. We will launch our Yi Malaysia official online store in 2-3 months time.

Xiaoyi was bought over / co-invested by Xiaomi and another company called Qi Ming. Xiaoyi was previously known as another company name before this.

This distributorship is with Xiaoyi, not Xiaomi btw. However we are allowed to sell Xiaomi products as well in the authorized Yi stores across Malaysia.

What will happen to the old product that was imported from china prior to your stores opening? Will it be invalid as well?

Hi,

Yes all china version CCTV can't be used after we launch officially. In fact, if you upgraded the apps now and you won't be able to use the old CCTV anymore as they have already started blocking via the upgraded apps. The second generation CCTV that are being sold in China only come with the upgraded apps. If you are planning to buy one now, I would suggest you to wait after we launch officially.
