Hi guys, I understand that the application closed on 30 June. But then I only start working recently, so wondering if they will open the application in the near future?
Thanks.

QUOTE(notmycupoftea @ Feb 15 2017, 12:49 PM) u misunderstood that para. that closing date of 10 March 2017 is for those who already got Tawaran (applied previously and got offered) to submit the remaining documents to the KPKT. is it possible to look for 2nd hand house first, and if got a unit that I like, then pay deposit (maybe a few k), then drag until mydeposit open and then I apply?that's why i previously made a bold guess that the permohonan may be only open few months later since KPKT needs time to process and review the remaining docs submitted by the applicants who got the Tawaran (applicants to submit by 10 March 2017) and thereafter deposit the RM30k to the successful applicants. after clearing up this batch baru open application to public again. the only problem is the seller may get impatient. other than that? QUOTE(notmycupoftea @ Feb 16 2017, 04:30 PM) the other issue to consider is we have no idea what is the quota left for this program. timing and quota issues yes even without incentive will probably buy anywayu can pay partial downpayment to the seller, but what if the govt suddenly said no more quota....will your partial downpayment be refundable? or will u proceed to buy the house without the incentive of RM30k? some applied and got rejected, are u ready for this? lol my current thought is if really found a unit i like, pay deposit, and can wait until end of 1H see if open or not. you said pay partial downpayment, I assume you mean if the house is 500K, I pay 20K, and the rest 10% downpayment is paid by the incentive? |

QUOTE(notmycupoftea @ Feb 17 2017, 09:38 AM) i mean any amount that can keep your seller happy and willing to wait for you. for the scenario u quoted, can be more than 20k or less than 20k Ya that's probably a bit tricky as not all sellers can wait for longanybody has any experience to share regarding subsales house? |

QUOTE(plihhan @ Feb 21 2017, 11:57 AM) It's really depends on the seller. For my case, the seller allow me to hold the S&P stamping for 6 months. (signed and paid 10% deposit, just hold the stamping) Thanks for sharing. So you paid 10% deposit first and keep the S&P? And when mydeposit approve then the money they transfer back to you? |

I saw few comments about "refund". What does it mean by refund from developer? Is it that you have paid 10% deposit to the developer and now that you got mydeposit, so the developer will refund your deposit?

QUOTE(akho @ Mar 4 2017, 12:04 PM) I've applied for mydeposit last year and finally got an approved letter. So last few months was chasing them on when the $ will be transferred to my lawyer account. from what I know S&P signed on or after Apr is fine, but not before Apr (someone was in putrajaya and saw rejected applications with S&P signed before Apr)Suddenly, on a routine call-in to inquire, the PIC said that my application rejected due to my SNP sign in January and mydeposit only applicable from April onward. SHOCK! PIC said already sent reject letter in October but i've since moved in to my new condo and never would have received it at my old address. Don't understand how an approved application can then be rejected on a later date. Any advice what can be done? |

QUOTE(ms749 @ Mar 16 2017, 08:18 AM) The main thing that you have to bear in mind, in the worst case scenario, you must be willing to buy the property with your own pocket money, i.e. not getting the RM30k. If paid 3% everything and sign s&p but NOT stamped yet, then apply mydeposit, then only take SNP to stampIf you have that sorted out, then start researching for subsale units, because the process might take a while. You need to view the units, contact several agents, comparing differnt sellers, etc. In the meanwhile, you can check your CCRIS and make sure it won't cause any problem when you wanna apply for loans. Clear any outstanding debt if you have any. Once MyDeposit is out, you would need to have a "Letter of offer to sell", which you would be getting from the seller/agent, when you decided to buy the unit and paid an "earnest fee"/"booking fee", usually 3% of the agreed house price. Then, together with the CCRIS, "Letter of offer to sell", you IC, income statement, etc, submit all of those documents. After that, you can proceed buying the house, i.e. paying the other 7% (so in total you would have paid 10%), applying for bank loan, signing snp etc. If you are lucky, then after 2-3 months, you would be getting a successful application, then you can proceed submitting the rest of the required documents, S&P, loan offer letter, etc. If there's no problem, you would be getting the money 2-3 months afterwards. Hope this helps you think can or not? |

QUOTE(ms749 @ Mar 17 2017, 04:57 AM) I'm not sure about signing S&P before applying MyDeposit. The ones that I've heard of, only signed it after applying. Thanks for your reply. What I mean was, even if I already sign the S&P but not stamped, no one actually knows when I sign it right? Only after it is stamped, then it becomes official. Isn't it?For example, last year MyDeposit was launched in April 2016. From what I've gathered, those who signed S&P before April 2016 could not apply for MyDeposit. So I'm assuming in your case, you've recently signed the S&P while MyDeposit has not been opened yet for 2017. You may try your luck, I'm not so sure about that. All the best. What I intend is, if the owner can't wait, I can sign snp but with hold stamping. Then if mydeposit announced, I apply. then only take the snp to stamp. |

QUOTE(ms749 @ Mar 17 2017, 02:59 PM) Thanks for your info. It's good to hear from the experience of past awardeeOne more question - do you use the same lawyer as the seller? If so then money just go directly to the lawyer. What if the buyer and seller use different lawyer? Money goes to where? Will it be complicated and slow down the process? |

QUOTE(ms749 @ Mar 24 2017, 09:16 AM) I'm not sure. As for my case, I've had 2 lawyers. 1 is for the S&P lawyer and another 1 is for the bank loan lawyer. I think money would be on your S&P lawyer. Yup so that means your S&P lawyer is the same as sellerwhat if S&P lawyer is different from the seller? Anybody has experience to share? |

QUOTE(nro_rai @ Apr 6 2017, 02:32 PM) I am successful mydeposit applicant. In my situation, I have 3 lawyers, seller, buyer & bank. Mydeposit money will be transferred to buyer lawyer (applicant). For me, this situation is not complicated and not slow down the process because my lawyer protect buyer right. Thanks for your reply. very good to hear from past awardee about their experience |

QUOTE(AverageJoe87 @ May 24 2017, 11:49 AM) I am disappointed that until now the new application is yet to be opened. same situation Try to clarify with Jabatan Perumahan Negara but their answers not helpful at all. Ask to check their website for update but the problem is i have been checking their website almost every single day since 3 months ago but still nothing. The problem is if i sign for S&P now, where MyDeposit not open for application yet, then cannot apply later once opened. Walao. have been checking the website since Apr literally every day but nothing actually did they even say they will open for this year? |

QUOTE(AverageJoe87 @ Jul 14 2017, 06:04 PM) I personally pm their facebook page. Pity. Those got it last year are really lucky. I called their office once but didn't help much. Just simply ask me to check the website time to time for update. Walao. Luckily their facebook admin willing to entertain me. But unfortunately based on their answer, I don't think Mydeposit is going to be opened soon Thanks for the info though. |
