Hi everyone!

I have acne prone, and pretty sensitive skin. Although I no longer have severe acne issues, I am still prone to getting clogged pores if I get lazy with my skincare or eat crappy foods lol.

I'm in need of some facial salon recommendations, the only place I have been to was Herbaline in Ampang. It's pretty average and affordable, but nothing praise-worthy hence the search tongue.gif

A few criteria:

-My budget is RM 300, at the maximum, nothing higher. Of course, if it is cheaper that'd be great but like everything else quality over quantity. I would also prefer facials suited towards hydration or acne-prone/troubled skins, I'm still 20 so anti-aging or lifting/firming facials isn't exactly my area of concern/

-I've got a high pain tolerance, I don't mind extractions. In, fact I look forward to them because that to me is what getting a facial is really all about lol

-Would prefer centres located in the K.L area

Thank you! smile.gif

Sensitive skin are often associated to your diet and skin care products that you use. If you have sensitive skin, say you are using Brand A, then head to facial which they use Brand B, you are basically inviting more problems to your skin... May I know what skin care products you are currently using?

I currently use Cetaphil face wash and Kate Somerville goat milk cream moisturiser. For toners I would alternate between there's witch hazel(cucumber), Clarins gentle exfoliating brightener(acidic) and Stridex pads. I used to use a vitamin c serum by Wild products and a Paula's Choice retinol serum but unfortunately both of them clogged my pores.

Generally, there are only three types of skins - Dry, Oily, or mixture of both. So, there is no sensitive type of skin. As mentioned earlier, sensitive skin may be caused by improper care, skin care products or diet. I see you have quite a mixture of skincare products. Perhaps what you could do is buy a PH tester, and make a test on the products you are currently using. The PH suitable for our skin is about 5.5 to 6.0, which means the test result should be in yellow color.
