QUOTE(jacky91 @ Jun 23 2016, 03:41 PM) Memang tak suka. Long time never pay for car wash liao, all sendiri cuci. Primarily because carwash use dirty cloth to wipe the car causing swirl marks on paintwork in no time. secondly it's free and just need some elbow grease and thirdly I get a good exercise.Actually, if one invest in a good premium car wax which can last for a couple of months, all you need to do is just rinse and dry. |

There is a planned multi storey parking complex at BK5 LRT station in the master plan but somehow songlap never build. Now even before the free parking near giant shop houses area start charging, the small LRT open car park already full to a brim. Same problem with New Kelana Jaya extension line, never build the planned car park. Now MPSJ withhold issuance of CCC. |

QUOTE(elmond @ Jun 29 2016, 03:13 PM) Supposed to be a 7 storey car park complex here. Now they just build a cheap open car park, can only accommodate approx 150 cars. Now already fully parked. Meanwhile, parking bays around the Giant's vincinity will start charging hourly parking fee by self service ticket vending machines effective 1st July 2016 ![]() This post has been edited by aeiou228: Jun 29 2016, 04:04 PM |

QUOTE(stimix @ Jul 2 2016, 12:27 PM) Tried new line to klcc from puchong perdana. Can you guys pull up the damn RapidKL journey planner hidden at the bottom of the rapidKL home page using IOS Safari or Android Chrome ? Damn stupid UI. Don't even bother to provide a journey planner direct link on the main page or at least in the site map. From puchong perdana to kj = 40min to kl sentral 1.03hr. To pasar seni 1hr 5min. Mesjid india 1hr 8min & KLCC exactly 1hr 15min. Not bad. Fare - RM4.30 The only way to open the journey planner on mobile devices is to Google search for the direct link. After gotten the journey planner, I thought I can obtain estimated travel time info like the London Underground website but only to be disappointed by no travel time info is available. Without travel time information, Riders have uncertainty whether to take the Putra height direction or the S.Petaling direction to certain destination stations in KJ line. |

QUOTE(uglyduckling422 @ Jul 11 2016, 10:52 AM) Anyone try from putra heights station to masjid jamek how long? I have tried to Ara Damansara around 25min. Thanks From Kinrara BK5 already 46min inclusive of 6 min platform transfer at S.Petaling.Since Rapid KL doesn't provide estimated travel time on it's website, why not we do a community reporting for the travel time of the new extension line ? I need to know the travel time from Kinrara BK5 --> Putra Height --> USJ7. |

QUOTE(PangurBan @ Jul 11 2016, 05:42 PM) Actually even now, I don't use my aircon much. Usage typically only heavy round about February - June. Being contemplating to install double-glazed window too but the intention is more towards sound insulation instead of heat. Can you help to record the dB level before and after between normal casement window vs double-glazed window?Past week for example, didn't switch on the aircon at all. Just use any sound level app will do. |

QUOTE(PangurBan @ Jul 12 2016, 09:46 AM) I don't think there will be very much difference, since my street is quite quiet. Except when the neighbour's six dogs get excited. Anyway, they say laminated glass is better for sound insulation. It will certainly reduce the outside sound but not sure to what degree. Can you help do the following ?Put your old phone outside the existing casement window with max volume ringtone or music and record the sound dB from the inside. After the new window installed, do the same test again. Just want to find out the % of the noise reduction between the normal casement window and the double-glazed ones. You can do the same for temperature too. Measure outdoor and indoor temperature before installation then repeat the same after installation. |

QUOTE(PangurBan @ Jul 12 2016, 09:51 AM) Anyway, just for the record, measurement taken just now: 20-25 dB with all the existing window shut, and three layers of curtains 30-35 dB with the window open, measurement taken just in front of the window. They're coming to measure my window at 1, so if there's anything you want me to ask them. . . QUOTE(PangurBan @ Jul 12 2016, 10:39 AM) 60 dB with the window open Thanks, so there is a 4-5 dB and a 3°C difference for the old window. Let's see how the new Double-Glazed window perform.56 dB with the window shut. 31°C outside 28°C inside, windows shut and three layers of curtain pulled together since 0530 This post has been edited by aeiou228: Jul 12 2016, 11:23 AM |
