Is it safe for a female to be a Uber driver?

There is always risk involved in everything so what you can possibly do is to minimize it, perhaps you can start off by driving morning/afternoon shift? Try to avoid night or late night trips..

I've decided not to do this. Gonna just find another source of extra income that I don't have to be paranoid and hold on to daggers and pepper sprays all the time. Thanks everyone for the suggestions  |

I think better dont, as you only have 2-3 hours a day, dont think u able to earn second, taxi driver act like gangster in malaysia, u sure u can handle? |

Just be prepared. Like pepper spray and defense stick and so on. Negros are especially shitty. I am not being racist but all grab/uber drivers complain to me negros and some middle-easterners are the worst customers. Negros will ask you to be his "girlfriend".
But I guess you just need to learn how to defend yourself like in any other situatlion.
