One more thing:

You may have come across "leaks" of webe services recently, and we did not comment before this as webe was only officially launched today. We can now confirm the "leaks" are not official webe plans, and they are not representative of what webe will be launching. But be rest assured, we are coming out with services that we have designed from listening to what the people of Malaysia have been saying.

We are listening. We hear you. And we are doing something about it.

If you would like to understand more why webe is starting with webe community first, instead of plans, products or services, have a look here -

Thank you

So... It's not an official subscription plan..

It's a plan made to test out their billing system before it goes up to public later. Open to select group of tm/p1 subs and to their staff. The screen are what the live testers actually saw. The leaks are just bad security.. Can't pull all blame on them not replying, they couldn't because they just announced p1=webe today. Anyhow, they already replied on fb

Source: I have the plan. And I have friends who work there

So the actual plans are not as good as the "leaked" plans?

I don't know to be honest. The Rm10 testing plan is only until July 31st. They mentioned package will change after that... Dont know if that means just price or the package.. We get to keep our cool new phone numbers though.

have you ever seen any leaks anywhere with the exact same wcreenshot taken from same angle by three different blog

only in malaysia!

If someone who got into the selected product testing actually leaks it to multiple blogs without webe marketing team conscent, wouldn't we get the same screenshot as well? I know for 1 soyacincau puts it's source as lowyat.net.. It was leaked here first..

So everyone can keep their expectations lower as the "leaked" plans were indeed some sort of "internal-only" plan for their testing phase. Hopefully the actual plans will still remain competitive.

We'll see if they really keep to their claims during the brand launch and do away with the 'speed, price, coverage, quota' war between the other mobile telcos

Webe is using band 5-850mhz. It will share all infra with tmgo... They are going for coverage first. They haven't started putting up band 38/40 EnodeBs yet.

I think they seriously messed up the spelling on this one.. everyone pronouncing it weh-beh!

on another note. the 850 MHz has much much larger coverage area than the typical 1800/2300/2600 MHz bands we have here.. and that means more subs per base station... which means more congestion... so be careful

that friend tells me they focusing on Band 5 FDD for coverage first, then going for speed with their Band 38/40 TDD for areas with high population. good thing about that is that Band 5 and 38/40 can coexist without interference.. bad thing is there is no carrier aggregation standard for those band pairs...
