Any modem with band 5 should be ok. You will not getting the RM60 device discount with usb modem.

I test with tmgo dlink modem. Connect as usual. But you will trigger 1 day un-certified phone use.

As long as it's same day it's will consider 1 day only even with multiple different device. Webe will update user will multiple SMS reminder. What I experience

- Each time change device, you will receive sms whether it's certified or not.
- Each day you will receive how many day you used un-certified device. Something like 1/7 days use with un-certified device.
- When you used all 7 days you will receive final sms saying used up 7 days and device discount is cancelled for this month.

The discount will be on monthly basis.

Hahaha.. But if you can pay for 4 account might as well pay for RM60. Cheaper than 2 account.

But usb-modem thing suppose for direct connected only. If you use the with wifi maybe they will able to detect it as tethering.

Yes. package price is RM199/month. RM60 discount for p1/tm customer (dunno which product). Another RM60 for certified device. SO 199-60-60 become 79..

That's one need to ask telephony engineer.

You will get sms saying 'not certified' when you put the sim in the new device. I think they use IMEI and other data required when registered the phone to the network. Like when we putting new sim we usually receive welcome msg and also network setting.

Yes amount is correct (without gst). But not sure you able to use this or not. if consider tethering, the internet access will be blocked.

Backbone same up to webe exchange. Internet will be their own. I believe webe will be manage their traffic more strict.

I test celcom up to 15Mbps (3G), then test webe only 7Mbps. Same place same server.
