hotspot need to pay about rm6 for 2 hours. Is usb tethering disabled too? If it is, this plan is not for me.

I already got their CS called for confirmation and order the sim card, but not yet pay registration.

Why didn't u find out from the CS? Maybe can use on tablet/netbook/laptop that come with sim-slot?
*
No use. For now tablet/laptop/netbook isn't in webe compatible device list. Which means, while it still can be use as normal, the price you would have to pay for the plan is not RM79. There is no RM60 discount for non-compatible devices. Furthermore, if you are not current active TM/P1 user, you will not receive any further RM60 discount. Which means you have to pay full price of around RM199 for the plan. I planned to contact the CS tomorrow about USB tethering, but i think that that feature will be disabled too.

I already called the CS to clarify the mobile tethering and usb tethering charges, which both have charges about RM6 for 2 hours. My opinion on this plan is, for those who pretty much stays in their coverage area, have TM/P1 active account and compatible device, its worth it. For those who either have TM/P1 account or webe compatible device, still can consider but for those who didn't have both the account and compatible device, this plan is pretty costly. I also asked them about their coverage, which according to the CS, the coverage area shown in Webe website is only for LTE, in which for other area the have 3G, which is not a reliable information at all. So, in short, unlimited quota & no speed cap, unlimited calls, but the catch is, its all in mobile phone, and no P2P too. So take this information in your consideration if you want to get this plan.

RM199 for this plan is not worth at all...unless u can get RM79 , can think about it ...

Yeah, i just cancelled the order. Because i'm not in their coverage area, although i do have compatible device but tethering have charges so nope. What use really unlimited data on mobile phone? Mostly only online streaming i guess, but other telco also offers free data for online streaming, like Umobile P98 plan and Maxis One plan.

You can get free for that if u Google , of coz not legal .
I doubt webe will block the link because the file will be uploaded to download server like Mega, uploaded etc etc.
That's how I use burung hantu when it was unlimited . Too bad it's limited now .
Maybe in future webe will implement restrictions ? Hard to say .

They will eventually. Why do they have such thing as a compatible device for then?

so thats why i dont think webe is a attractive package.... i dont need >30gb data on phone ... more or less 10gb is enuf already

You are correct about the data for the phone. However for those who have no other option for ISP, like no streamyx, might at first consider this plan as wireless broadband. As it turns out, a big nope from Webe.
