guys,
this is wireless technology. only a certain number of user can be connected to the base station at one time. this is not restriction by the telco, but the technology itself.

if any telco allowed unlimited data/or free thetering (in webe case), there will be a user that will be hogging the network and eat up all the bandwidth. how bout the the rest? they will get low speed and possible disconnected.

bandwidth is not cheap. yes, TM does have extensive blueprint in their fiber network but can anyone guess how much they invest to get such extensive network?
*
if their system/technology cant handle customer requirements so dont sell in this way to us. This is means of cheating and ended up we complain to CFM and MCMC.... unless they like to received complains from consumers and samans from CFM and MCMC .... wah... rich lo, throw money like that ...

I believe there is a good explanation why webe certified device getting discount and invitation based on user poscode

Since webe is roaming with celcom 3g, there might some charge for the roaming services

And invitation based on user poscode to ensure the user can utilized the webe lte instead of celcom 3g roaming
*
there also complaints for people that live at those postcode area...
Please bare in mind that this is mobile, which is "Mobility" term are part of its actions.

locking them to their postcode is only giving the subscribers to have "good quality" experiences when they are at home only.... so better they just used their mobile devices at home....

come on la.... you need to think as a consumer mindset also...... Our mobile devices moves with us, how can they just fix the coverage based on postcode only...

Problem is..im working in lahad datu and my wife is staying at kluang

LTE still not wide coverage..only certain place only get 4G with speed above 20mbps...
*
so u only get to used 3G celcom coverage and unless you're within the 4G LTE coverage then you will enjoy LTE.

hmmmm...

up till now i see that their after sales support is very unstable.
so unstable until the consumers have to resolved within this thread by them self.

Where's the proper support? are they lack of manpower until cant help solve issues for the consumers?

I feel its still slow for 4G.
Countries like Thailand and Singapore is above 25mbps - 40mbps for 4G range....

why Malaysia (a developed country) cant provide better services?. ...

There are plenty of smartphones that support LTE Band 5 (850) of Webe, for example, my old LG G2 (Korean version).

How come it is not certified?
*
they only certified "new" mobile models so that they can up-sell you from their site.

hahaha ... oldest trick in the book of how to make sales grow....
