QUOTE(dtdw @ Sep 11 2016, 07:35 PM) Hmm i don't quite understand what's the TA on this. This post has been edited by mazhard: Sep 11 2016, 07:46 PMCan i use a dongle? nope ... webe not allowing any free share/tether Why is discount only restricted to certain device? Can the sim read the device model? webe is using 850mhz lte (band5) and that is the only spectrum award to webe as now They want user getting the full features of webe lte How do they disable thethering? By restricting it to device and disable thethering from the menu? u can tether it with additional charge . Damn, if really want give unlimited, please just give unlimited la. If want to limit, just put a simple data plan limit. I seriously hate this type of marketing. It's call confusion marketing. |

QUOTE(skychaos @ Sep 11 2016, 08:38 PM) If u don't want it simply go to the other telco bro..its simple...nothing in this world is free and no limitation..and if you look at the other carrier international such as at&t, T-mobile, etc..all got charge on tethering..just hope there will an existance someday some carrier that might suite your/us "desireable" in such limitation.. ## deleted comment ###This post has been edited by mazhard: Sep 12 2016, 06:52 AM |

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Sep 11 2016, 02:49 PM) yes, i might have use over 1000gb or 10000gb but they can't do anything as they can't even trace what we are using with the data through vpn~ They not saying anything about tethering ..only wifi hotspotoh did i mentioned vpn? oh is it true vpn can bypass tethering? haha maybe i'm talking the truth or bluffing them and keep them spinning around wondering how we did it they can't question too much as we can easily use 2GB in an hour using the phone to stream videos apps such as astro on the go, hypptv etc in a rate of 5Mbps. what most important that they have stated that this should be an endless data for us and they have no reason to question us how we use it if we didn't use it for tethering purpose whereby they are gonna charge us RM6.36 for 2 hours pass even though we tried to tether it, you gonna get a sms or the page will shown up that you need to purchase the pass in order to tether so why they can't detect for some reason? they should have question their IT and not those who manage to bypass their tethering protection and i believe there are getting more and more people who did it by the time the IT manage to figure it out anyway i will be cancelling the account as soon as i got the unifi 30Mbps as this webe is not efficient enough for heavy user like me as the download keep stopping in the middle but streaming wise is stable but this is only apply to only one device connect at a time Attached thumbnail(s) |

I believe there is a good explanation why webe certified device getting discount and invitation based on user poscode
Since webe is roaming with celcom 3g, there might some charge for the roaming services And invitation based on user poscode to ensure the user can utilized the webe lte instead of celcom 3g roaming |

QUOTE(verticalar @ Sep 14 2016, 10:58 AM) there also complaints for people that live at those postcode area... Thats why it not widely open to public ...and based on invitation Please bare in mind that this is mobile, which is "Mobility" term are part of its actions. locking them to their postcode is only giving the subscribers to have "good quality" experiences when they are at home only.... so better they just used their mobile devices at home.... come on la.... you need to think as a consumer mindset also...... Our mobile devices moves with us, how can they just fix the coverage based on postcode only... Poscode area is to experience user with webe own lte . U can simply moving out from 4g area and your data can be roaming with celcom 3g somemore can reach up to 8mbps |
