Good if you can control. Never let the credit card control you. You can save at least >10%p.a of spending with proper planning, the right card and discipline. With discipline, banks are working for you. GST? No problem when you can get >10%p.a of spending. drool.gif rclxm9.gif thumbup.gif

No discipline, banks come after you like sharks when they sniff blood. drool.gif And good luck working for the bank giving them free 18%p.a interest. biggrin.gif

Banks aren't getting a single sen from me if I can help it. I don't intend on giving banks any single sen now or in the future. Banks instead will give me >10%p.a cashback for my spending.

In this day and age, you need one to establish a good credit rating. Just be responsible with it and make full use of the added benefits.

Use it on emergency basis or on a strict control.

Else, I use cash.

CC can be an evil in your pocket if you don't know how to prudently manage the bills.

Get free for life like MBB 2 card as a profile for the bank even if you don't intend to spend your money. This will help you in your future loan application for house, car or personal loan.

malaysia will going to introduce credit scoring system on every adults.

so it's good start to use credit card.

i use it like 10 years, and every month i will clear my debt.

i try to use credit card on every transaction if possible, so that i can earn rebate.

credit card is just a form a payment method, you should have know you can afford something or not before you bought it.

payment method will not make you poor, it is the purchase judgement that cause you broke.

Of course need credit card!!
Just imagine without credit card, how do you book flight tickets? How to go for holidays for booking? Online purchase is needed as well.
It is for our conveniences.

Credit cards are good for those who knows who to manage cash and finance very well..

It also allows you to track some of your spending like Petrol especially when you use credit cards with higher cash back on petrol..

For instance, balance transfer sometimes offers 0% interest, and it could enabled you to plan for your finance..

But ALWAYS REMEMBER THE MAIN DRAWBACK is you might tend to overspend if you do not have the discipline...

Rm1k-2k limit can. If you need to increase, just call up the bank. Usually they allow a temporary increase.
