Hi,

I had been using Time since 2014.
I'm still using the original modem ( Huawei HG8240 ) & router ( Linksys E1200 ).
Past year had been getting unstable speed, hence now thinking of changing the router to Asus 1200 or 1300.

My question is, does one simply exchange the router?
What is the proper method and what are the things I should take note of?

Thks.

Hi, to use your third-party router, first thing is you need your PPPoE Credentials ID and Password.

I'm using TP-Link Archer C9 AC1900.

All routers support TIME. If you need further guide. I may help you.

Thanks.

Thks for your reply.
Pls do guide me on how to get the PPPoE credentials ID & Password.
Appreciate your help.
I'm looking to get an Asus RT-AC1300UHP to replace the Linksys E1200.
Is the Asus a good choice? My budget is RM500 but for RT-AC1300UHP I need to top up a bit.
Thks.

Call Time to get both credentials and password, and yes, Asus Rt-AC1300UHP is a good choice.

I subscribed about 4 years ago, RM129 for 8Mbps, then upgrade to 10Mbps then to 100Mbps.
Still paying for RM128 per month.

But my place still no upgrade of the speed yet.
