Yes most of the routing problems still there...I'm on IPTV service, while using a vpn to UK, USA or even Singapore I can stream smoothly with 0 lag. Turned off the vpn the iptv instantly becomes unwatchable.
Just to share my experience, please don't ask me to share the trace data coz
1. I don't know how to trace...
2. TIME technical dept should have enough of those to check and rectify the problems.

Hi guys, my Tenda AC-15 router today suddenly becomes very weak on 5Ghz, usually it's strong in every part of my small house but now have to bring the wireless devices to the side of the router only can detect the signal. Changing between the 5 Ghz channels doesn't solve the problems..... The 2.4Ghz is fine without this problems....
Does it mean my router is defected?

Dear All

From what I observe , Mostly TM high rise building in Malaysia still  majority using VDSL or ADSL technology(unless refer to newly built building) , in order to roll out 10 x increase of the speed , it still require  some time and incurred a lot of hardware cost.

I will predict the changes may take time and this is another strategy to buy time to keep their customer from being jump ship to TIME.

Anybody agree?

+1 for this.
What TM trying to do now TIME already done it seamlessly 2+ years ago. Unless TM offers no nonsense FTTH package with more attractive price otherwise I don't see the meaning of jump ship to TM.
Having said that I do happy to see the competition which will ultimately benefits us.

My guess is TIME will reduce price for 100mbps while upgrading existing customer's speed. That's why they keep pushing new sign ups for 100mbps to tie them to new contract so that when new plans announced not every customers stays at the cheapest package.....

are you RA2 player ?

when you comment basic needs, do you even understand what is basic needs ?
*
Don't need to question other's opinion in such a way bro, everyone's entitled to their own measurement of what is their basic needs. I do find that your comments of 1Mbps will do it for you a bit strange too since you can't even stream HD content with that speed. Anyway hope Maxis doesn't disappoint you with supplying you reliable 1 Mbps speed at least.

Can't TIME just make things simple?
I think TIME is trying too hard to act smart this time.

Can roughly let us know when to tune in? Following this thread and TIME FB page all I see is people's complaints about TIME slow response to price cut/speed ramp compare to others service providers.
