Staying in Mentari Court currently using Maxis FTTH. Any promo to switch to Time right now? Saw in their website if selfserve order will get RM100 rebate in first month. Anything else?

Thanks jjj2 for helping me on the application. Registration process is smooth and easy and Time fibre is now up and running in my apartment. thumbup.gif

Aside of this, my WIFI PING (5G) to server is much better than my LAN connection. Getting 1ms on WIFI where average 5~6ms on my LAN connection. Is this normal?

Got the same thing last month and also failed to do it myself.
Rang the CS and they call me back the next day and help to perform the router firmware update remotely while i am away from home.
When i reach home at night verified the version updated successfully.

Since Monday found out that my Time Router are not able to assign auto IP for my devices.
All devices that set to auto IP detection will fail to connect to internet.
Need to manually set IP for all my devices (PC, Laptop, phone, IPad etc) one by one.
It was working perfectly before this. Anyone else experience the same?
Remark: Impacted both LAN & WIFI connection ya.

Checked and setting is enabled.
However, issue resolved after reboot the router...
I think this is the 2nd time i rebooted the devices since installation done in March.

ya. so far i am happy with the overall performance.
I kept my Maxis FTTH (30Mbps, suspended currently) as backup connection and never had a chance to switch it on yet since March.

30Mbps> RM89/month (optional + RM10 for unlimited home voice)
100Mbps> RM129/month (unlimited home voice included, upload speed is only up to 50Mbps)
Effective 12/09 only but can sign up immediately for it this noon.

Mine only showing -RM28.45
Could be billing adjustment. They will prorate and refund you with 0% GST charge from 01/09~06/09 (if you bill cycle on 07th monthly).
Then in next month bill charge you again from 01/09~06/09 with 6% SST. Hence next month bill amount would be higher as it charge from 01/09~06/10 with 6% SST

was using maxis fibre previously. once upon a time Unify technician performed maintenance at the condo and god know how they accidently unplug my cable from the main box at cable room in my floor.
took Maxis & TM 1 week before they can come together for joint troubleshooting. Issue resolved right immediate after they plug back the cable at the main box.

SST Calculation

Y = No of Days from 1 Aug to Bill Cut-Off Date

Total Billed Amount (up to 31 Aug), C = V + (D - Y)/D * (P - R)

For a 100Mbps customer with Auto Debit, billl cut-off date 8th each month.

P = RM149
R = RM2
V = RM33.19 (is this based on the -ve value???)
D = 31
Y = 8

C = 33.19 + 23/31 * 147 = RM142.25

I'm not even sure if my calculation above is correct or not.
The bill is so confusing.
It says that I need to pay RM157.81. Also I'm on auto debit, which means it will charge my CC anytime.

Bill Amount for 01/09/2018~07/09/2018:
[(RM147/31days)*7days]=RM33.19
+6% SST will be RM35.18

Bill Amount for 08/09/2018~07/09/2018 is simple:
RM147+6%SST=RM155.82

Total Current Charges Amount: RM191.00
Previous Balance: -RM33.19
Final Amount to pay: RM157.81

You just need to pay RM161+. Not RM200+
This is because SST implementation on 01/09/2018. They charge you the pro-rated amount of SST from 01/09 to your bill cycle date.
