anyone experience time connection getting slower? lately my connection is very bad. download speed around 75 Mbps while upload around 85 Mbps. not even near to 90 Mbps nor symmetrical speeds. previously time just upgrade, they have a very good speed. i wonder it's too much users now, their speed getting slower

How the rebate works exactly, I mean the cs told me will be credited to the customer's account starting first month.

Here is the thing, the rebate 500 is fully applied for every months fee, which e.g. 149 per month, so 3 months will be 447. For the first 3 months will be 500-149?
OR
Up to RM xx rebate per month, e.g. total 500 rebate, 50 per month, up to 10 months?
Btw, I want to know the servicec availability in my area.

Hey TIME, my PPPOE username is place4use@timebb. Pls help me check why is my speed not consistant.

I am using 100Mbps package but I tested and i am only getting 7.72Mbps download speed!!! I managed to resolve once by rebooting the modem but now I have rebooted multiple times, tried wired cable and still the same.

Could someone share experience and tell me what should i do?

In the future just go for ac3100. Others are overkill.

I'm getting TIME 500Mbps soon, just waiting for the installers to come. I've a few questions if you guys don't mind..

1) What is the upload speed for 500Mbps?
2) Is there a download limit (AKA 'fair usage')? Their 'fact sheet' in the website is more like a flyer with limited details. Couldn't find the answer after reading a few pages in here either.
3) If answer for above is yes, how much slower will the connection be throttled down?
4) Is the standard router for 500Mbps good? I read people in here installing other firmwares or using other routers for better performance?

Hi Bro,

Try to perform a LAN speedtest again by hooking in a Cat5e/Cat6 network cable to your router.
-- make sure you are not running any downloads during the test.
-- make sure the test is local Malaysian server (preferably those located in KL)
-- make sure your PC/Laptop that is used for testing has Gigabit port.
-- make sure you turn of network protection on ur router router or close IPV6
If all the above still does not give you expected speed, please perform a direct ONU test.

If it fails again, then we need to proceed with further checking.

if I want to downgrade it to 100mbps , do they charge me additional charges ?

I just installed the 100Mbps plan yesterday. Tried using speed test, and it never reaches 90+Mbps. Probably around 70+Mbps max. Average around 30-50Mbps

I used the speed test on my laptop, then phone. both through wifi, sat next to router. Both roughly same results.

Should i worry about not getting close to 100Mbps?

Anyone using the following router with TIME? I noticed for myself there are some blind spots in my bedroom with the supplied D Link 850L .

by default they already give D-link DIR850L rm270 right?

Honestly nothing special about the dir850. Internal antenna is not as good signalwise. Im looking for better alternative. Any suggestions?
