Maybe in future. For now I am happy to have multiple wifi devices enjoying the high speed wifi of AC1900. smile.gif
*
Great, too sad for me, all devices unable to support AC.

All until Wireless N only.

Step by step bro. AC on 5ghz is good but range still poorer than N on 2.4ghz.
*
Ya. Range for 5GHz is lower coverage than 2.4GHz

QUOTE(SilentForever @ Jul 21 2016, 07:22 PM)
That is very impressive speed.
*
Yeah. Only via LAN can get that speed.

The stock wireless router speed can support 100mbps but it's device dependent. My older laptop can only connect at 40-50mbps, but my Iphone / ipad mini 2 can connect to 100mbps.

I am impressed with Time. Keep up the good work. I just wish the service will not degrade with more users signing up now.
*
Hope to get review.

Stock router is capable of 100Mbps on Wi-Fi depends on device hardware. If it is AC then can reach.

Quick question.  When I am hear the router and such, speeds were ok, up to 90mbps  on my android phones and tablet. However,  in the adjoining  bedroom, speeds  suffer and drops to between  3-5 mbps. I have the 100 mbps  plan

How can I  speed this up? Was the wall in between the sore point? Thanks
*
Depends on hardware compatibility.

Wireless AC router and devices can reach full speed over Wi-Fi.

Anyone living in Bayu Puteri Apartment, PJ using TIME? How is the speed there?

The speed is fast and stable.

QUOTE(Vcys86 @ Jul 25 2016, 02:37 PM)
Is this router good to support 100Mbps package?

ASUS RT-AC55UHP

I have this with me now, but will TIME technician setup using own router only?
*
They will install using stock router.
Q: Can I request TIME’s authorised installer to configure / provide IT support services for my own router or equipment that is not provided by TIME?
A: Yes. This is chargeable at RM80 per hour up to a maximum of RM300 per day, and is payable directly to the TIME-appointed installer.

Thanks to TXSim, mztang52 and jjj2 for the feedback!

I am following this guide to setup previously for Unifi 10Mbps package.
Not sure if the same can be used for TIME package?

For Time Fibre.
Step 1. Go quick setup.
Step 2. Key in admin and password.
Step 3. Select PPPoE and fill in the ID and password.
Step 4. Set up your wireless connection.
Step 5 done.

May I know which plan you subscribed?

Is your house single phase wiring or 3 phased wiring?

If single then you have to option to get new Power Line

Hi. I'm staying in block A as well. biggrin.gif  Did you try using Wifi before & how is the speed? Is it consistent?

When you convert, did you pay any penalty or TIME absorb it for you?

I'm currently on Unifi 30 & I can get the full speed mostly on Wifi but still thinking whether to change to TIME.
*
The Wi-Fi Speed depends on the Hardware Compatibility.

Easy Switch Rebate applies switching from TM or Maxis.
For 300Mbps to get full speed, your device and yr router must support Wireless AC.
