QUOTE(zkhin @ Apr 11 2016, 03:10 PM) I think it's a Google Maps feature where it pinpoints your current location.. Unfortunately, on the time website, it re-uses the same "availability" dot..if you go to maps.google.com, you will also see a blue dot where you are right now.. QUOTE(ezinger @ Apr 11 2016, 09:40 AM) The E1200 doesn't even have a gigabit port. I think it's safe to say that a minimum of a dual band router would easily let you reach 100 Mbps on LAN and possible around the same on WiFi. QUOTE(jjj2 @ Apr 11 2016, 10:54 AM) Hi Mavric, Hey guys, Don't waste time with E1200, its hardware barrier just won't let you increase your performance.. Try to purchase a Router either from the Selfcare Portal or from outside computer store... make sure its Gigabit WAN/LAN. For current & upcoming bandwidth optimization concerns, get at least an AC1200 Router. At the same time, make sure your receiving devices (Eg. Laptop, Mobiles, Tablets etc) all are able to support at least Dual Band, better if it supports Wifi 802.11AC. If you need Router placement advise for your unit, kindly buzz me. Thanks. I'm gonna replace the E1200 with this: https://www.asus.com/Networking/RTAC68U/specifications/ The AC68U has rave reviews from what I read. Anyone got hands-on real life experience with it? Right now I have 2 laptops at home, both have WLAN a/b/g/n One more new laptop coming soon, with dual band WLAN ac. Both mobile phones already have WLAN a/b/g/n/ac. This morning slept at 4am for one final round of tweaking on the E1200. On LAN, hitting 80+ to 90 Mbps no problem on the E1200. Very acceptable since ISP gives me 100Mpbs. On WLAN, 30+ to 40+ Mbps only. Unacceptable. So I will welcome AC68U real soon. |

We've tested this unit as Router, AP, Repeater Mode...all functioning fantastically well. Unless your unit is over 2,000 sq ft and multi storey, if for a 1000--1300 sq ft condo, this unit is a bit overkill. Just like party Bro said, unless you planning for future upgrade. Else try go for lower end model such as AC66U. Thanks. This post has been edited by jjj2: Apr 12 2016, 09:01 AM |

Hi,I suppose you are referring to Router.... as the ONU carries lifetime warranty. Router would depending on your budget & your unit size to cover. Thanks. |

Hi,
I'm from Penang staying in landed house. I'm interested to signup 100mbps package, but my house got no coverage. Pulse and Oasis condo opposite my house within 1km has got covered, may I know if I can get coverage as well? |

Then 'netsh wlan show drivers' |

Both support AC1300, difference is that AC1750 supports N 450, while AC1900 supports N 600. Common devices rarely are N600 capable and in real life, N450 and N600 has no obvious difference. Besides, in the future you would be using AC band instead of N. |

However most if not all AC1900 routers have dual core SoCs vs AC1750 routers. I'd recommend a more future proof device if one can stretch one's budget for it, especially since most people don't upgrade routers very often. |
