Hi guys, I am still thinking of either getting TIME or Unifi, I was leaning more towards TIME previously (for obvious reason) but recently I've heard a people complains saying that their TIME internet connections were unstable, lost of connections every now and then, is this true to anyone else here? 

By the way, I live in Bayan Lepas, Penang

Any suggestion for modem/router replacement (using the given e1200 currently) under rm300? Got those new AC wifi and at least  5 lan port? If got cheaper even nice 

Thanks for reply, yeah. I prefer to plug right into the modem but I found one with 1 internet port + 4 port lan below.
tp-link-ac900-wireless-dual-band-wifi-router-archer-c20 (lazada). Not sure if got the ppoe to connect to time. But the lazada ads said can be used with time/unifi/maxis

edit: i found a console emulator for that / http://www.tp-link.co.za/emulators.html and it does have ppoe.

yes i understand the function of extender / wifi repeater. Im using the old ZTE white colour router provided by TIME.
i wanna do bypassing router so that can increase my internet speed or not. So i can know that my router is the main down side for my internet speed

ZTE Router provided from TIME and the 300Mbps will give you exact same speed.

However, you may go for a new Wireless AC WiFi Router.

He is using ZTE H298N provided by TIME.
This router became worse until speed upgrade.

Previously was on 10 Mbps plan
Now upgraded to 100 Mbps plan and upgrade router to Archer C9

im pretty sure Time's own DNS blocks certain websites, especially those porn sites. I've come across that page a few times when on Time's own DNS.

Hi all, do you have any idea... my Tenda AC15 problem connect to unify.. i already install firmware and try connect but not work...

Anyone using tenda ac15 router? I read tenda ac15 range is better than stock dlink dir 850 in here. But I find tenda ac15 2.4ghz wifi range and performance is worst than dlink 850.
My download and upload speed is terrible when using 2.4ghz wireless N connection at far end of the house. Any special setting in tenda ac15 for those who find tenda ac15 range is better?
The range and performance is improve if I connect using 5ghz but it is also not significant improve when compare with dlink 850.

Yes, I do agree that TIME is slower at night. Perhaps, ~20-30% slower.

so when is TIME taking it up a notch to 1 GBPS?

Yahoo... Done configured it. Is it normal that when using wifi the upload speed only able to reach 30Mbps?
