They decrease the speed.
Upgrading router is your best choice.

Powerline limit their speed 100Mbps only.
Suggest you to change.

Agreed. I had an AV600 tp-link pair with gigabit ethernet ports that gave me 200-300mbps of network performance from living room (router) to study room (PC).

The newer AV1200 and AV2000 models may be even better.

Yes I use CAT5e cable. Just called CS and I think the problem is on Time's end. Got my speed back

if i subscribe to Maxis Fiber or TM Unifi, there will be contract of 24 months. my place only have TM at the moment, TIME Fiber not so soon.

due to urgency, will subscribe to TM/Maxis first.

let's say TIME comes to my area after 3-6 months, i would terminate TM/Maxis. obviously there will be termination penalty of RM500.

i heard TIME will "buy off" the penalty by giving 3-months free for TIME fiber. that would be RM149 x 3 months = RM447. I dont mind the balance as long as can switch to TIME

now the main question: Is there any T&Cs or time period for TIME to "buy off" the penalty from TM/Maxis?

e.g. if i subscribe TM/Maxis for 1 month only, then switch to TIME, will TIME offer me the "free 3 months subscription"?
