Quite smart of DiGi to play along the lines of 10GB total data, just give more of all-day data and less of extra weekend data to have a slight advantage over Celcom.

QUOTE(ericpires @ Apr 15 2016, 11:48 AM) I must admit this new Digi plan really knocks off Celcom First Gold. Should I change from Celcom to Digi? Some advantages Celcom still has over DiGi:1) After exceeding quota, Celcom is throttled while DiGi totally cuts you off (based on their FAQ). 2) Celcom's quota topup is valid until next billing cycle while DiGi has a pretty short validity (usually 7 days). |

If my prepaid have the IDD free basic internet, I am not entitled for the free internet upon reload?
I reloaded RM10 and supposed to get the free 300MB, but when I try to redeem at *888*1# it says "please reload/subscribe before redeeming". |

QUOTE(jack2001 @ Apr 29 2016, 09:35 PM) They are spending double the CAPEX of maxis and digi, just hope that it wont be too late as they have a lot of catching up to do. It is already late but then again better late than never. Also the partners Ericsson and Huawei seems to be a good choice, DiGi went with ZTE. |

QUOTE(sj0217 @ May 3 2016, 05:32 PM) Went to change a new SIM Card with charge for RM10.60, not FOC Without a valid reason (like upgrading or faulty SIM), it will likely fall under Lost & Stolen as the reason of replacing the SIM and hence the charge.Staff said the free SIM Card is ended, the next round probably will be on August |

When will DiGi ever give free basic Internet for postpaid users upon exceeding quota usage? Also, even if there's no plan to give unlimited SMS, at least bundle it up with some free SMS would be good too.

QUOTE(nexona88 @ May 13 2016, 03:42 PM) Digi alllocates RM904m for capex this year Looks promising. Now if only they can simplify their plans. DiGi is probably the only telco now that has so many different variants of their postpaid plans (even their prepaid too).http://www.thestar.com.my/business/busines...apex-this-year/ |

QUOTE(uhlaw @ May 17 2016, 08:55 AM) I'm happy for you since your problem has been solved Should be network issue especially if you're on 4G. The phone has to revert back to 3G when there's an incoming call and if it fails to change to 3G then you won't receive the incoming call. Happens on Celcom as well. When the telco launches VoLTE then this kind of problem should be rare.I still on my fight with DiGi CS due to my frequent dropped calls |

QUOTE(NSR @ May 19 2016, 12:21 AM) QUOTE(nexona88 @ May 19 2016, 01:05 AM) From another point of view, they are not entirely wrong either for using the term "unlimited". Basically many telcos are using it to state that you will be connected to the Internet even after finishing up your quota. Usually there will be a fineprint to mention that there will be a certain amount of GB of high-speed Internet and after exceeding this quota then the speed will be reduced. They will only be wrong if they advertise as "unlimited high speed Internet". |

QUOTE(NSR @ May 19 2016, 02:54 PM) and also the unlimited internet which is quite big n thick on the ad. after the 15gb there comes the basic internet, which they mention unlimited. Now I'm getting to understand what you were trying to say.Ya need DiGi to clarify clearly on the basic internet. The basic internet TnC that you gave the link previously I believe was on the free basic internet (for peak hours) given to Smart Prepaid users. So yes that one definitely got a quota which is why they did not state "unlimited free basic internet" when selling Smart Prepaid plan. However the case that is not clear is with the unlimited internet given for 1am-7am. Yes there is a 15GB quota for this. However, I think basic internet at 64kbps when used between 1am-7am is unlimited. If after finishing 15GB of data for 1am-7am they block off all Internet usage then yes clearly DiGi is wrong for using the term unlimited. I wonder if anyone can clarify. ADD: Just saw your sample conversation with DiGi, I think the staff might have misunderstood. Free basic internet 64kbps at 7.01am-12.59am = 500MB Basic internet 64kbps at 1.00am-7.00am = unlimited But then again I'm no representative from DiGi so I cannot confirm this.
