QUOTE(alexleow81 @ Sep 28 2016, 07:47 AM) Now I fell Digi connection little slower ady! Probably too many people port in lately again! I just moved to new house (8th Floor) and the connection there quite unstable! It fluctuates between H+ and 4G in between and then if it turns to H+, the connection is so slow and cannot load internet. Yup, seems a bit slow nowadays.. Loading video also become slower... And maybe your area too many users also...

QUOTE(alexleow81 @ Sep 28 2016, 01:09 PM) Maybe. I must admit more and more users port in to Digi already that causes this slowness. Maybe the floor also affected. I am staying at the 8th floor. Maybe the signal fluctuates also because of this. 8th floor should be okay.. above 15 floor could pose some issues

QUOTE(alexleow81 @ Sep 28 2016, 01:31 PM) I am using Hotlink as my secondary line. No issues there. 4G all the way with speed about 10-20Mbps. Digi I get 5 - 10Mbps only. Could be with the congestion. oh if that's the case. then it's congestion issues.. Maxis won't face it because most users already terminate their services & port out

QUOTE(alexleow81 @ Sep 28 2016, 01:37 PM) Yes. I think so. Previously 1st 2 weeks of September I am at my new home, it was OK, then comes the 3rd week where the congestion starts to come. around the same time when Maxis announce the stopping of Free Spotify Premium for MOP customers

QUOTE(crusher @ Sep 28 2016, 01:48 PM) Their second level of customer service agent called me up today too. They agreed to waive for this time ON GOODWILL BASIS. Wtf?! As if we beg for waive now. The problem is each time you switch sim card (good luck to those travelling alot) / remove your sim to active your imsg / any usage of imsg or facetime - YOU WILL BE CHARGE RM0.50 each time. His reason gave me is I have to suck it up. If dont like can complain to SKMM or CFM. Which mean no solution from them. Dafuq wah tis is too much wor.. just imagine the amount of users being charged rm0.50 each time.. Digi really can make additional income from it

Saw notice from mcmc..
Digi, Celcom & Maxis users would face some temporary intermittent service disruptions because telco are migrating their cell tower operating in the 900Mhz & 1800Mhz spectrum band..
It's from September 2016 till June 2017

QUOTE(pcbase @ Oct 1 2016, 07:18 AM) umobile user will find out their LTE signal become better and stronger. The big 3 telco get reduced spectrum, given to umobile.. I'm more worry the service quality would be reduced for 3 big telco

QUOTE(prosibu @ Oct 1 2016, 05:57 PM) Half correct? Lolx Telco should/will use multi spectrum for ease congestion. For current big 3, A tower can have 2600mhz and 1800mhz 2600 mhz can transmit 1km 1800mhz can transmit 2km So, user will use 2600mhz at 0-1km from the site instead of 1800mhz While user within 1km-2km will using 1800mhz So 900mhz comes will let user at 2-3km having LTE Also, more penetration to in building If have 3 different band is good.. Less congestion issues.. Users also won't be focus in 1 band only.. Can spread it on how far from tower
