Kinda wishes that us Postpaid user gets to buy some pass for during 1-7am one...probably like RM 5 = 20GB... innocent.gif

No need to buy if you are on MaxisOne Plan Sabah/Sarawak and you must live in either Sabah, Labuan or Sarawak biggrin.gif Got 1,024GB 1-7am quota every month, usable only in East Malaysia. Anyway, I suppose this is only possible as Maxis is way behind DiGi and Celcom in terms of subscribers in these two states.

My feedback/opinion on DIGI :

Digi is the WORST service provider to date.

1. Their Line sucks ass (Always no line in building, seriously.... when one of my friend said "no line" in malls or restaurant.... confirm is digi and not other telco..)

2. Coverage for 3g/4g is pathetic despite being a "premium" based service provider like Maxis. Most of the outskirt area has no coverage, really wtf.

3. Saw a lot of complains that customer signed up before revised plan got ripped off and has to pay nearly double what newer customer pays. (Good on you digi for not giving a shit about your existing customers)

4. Lousy customer service, gives you stupid generic answers like a telephone machine. Might as well pre-record an answering machine if you can't make decisions apart from standard guide.

5. Expensive and uncompetitive plans. Since digi is lacking in giving "premium" services, their plan is so ridiculously expensive for benefits that are ridiculously miserable compared to non-premium service provider like U-Mobile and YES mobile. (If you can't be the premium player, don't charge the premium price)

Bottomline, DIGI SUCKS so much that they are comparable to the bad years we had with STREAMYX

Feel free to debunk or criticise my opinion if you think otherwise.

I guess it varies on different location. In Johor Digi fairs well for both indoor and outdoor coverage, although in a rare scenario the LTE will drop to two bars but 3G always gets up as back up network if LTE drops too low. But for Penang, especially near to north part, the indoor seems bad and always become no service.

There is no need to be mad at Digi whatsoever, you have the right to switch to any telco you want. If you feel that their coverage is not up to your standard and found out that other telco's have better coverage, then switch to them. Same for the telco's offerings.

However, keep this in mind. No telco is perfect, you choose what suits you and works best for you, everyone's experience differs from each other. Moreover, typically people who have problems will voice out their frustrations and not those who don't. I respect your opinion, but they are certainly not the worst.

To those who complained that Digi is not giving them a better plan after signing a contract, Digi is indeed an a**hole for not giving a chance to upgrade, however Digi is not obliged to upgrade them, but still, no telco is as good as Maxis for upgrading all their Oneplan users as their plans are not a total mess.

PS, trying not to make this sound hostile innocent.gif

"Good as Maxis?"

You remember the absolute disaster that their postpaid plans and "good customer" upgrades were? If they hadn't offered the "good" plans in desperation, they would have lost many more customers. Even now their plans aren't that attractive. But better than before.

Good as in they upgrade their existing customer regardless if they are under contract or not. Credit where credit's due.

True. But after practically a users revolt. And by then, their apparently random upgrading had rendered the customer classifications a total mess! So I think that they had no choice.

To be fair, they took a more honourable way out. Not every telco may have taken the same route.

Like I said... it's my feedback and opinion..

If "feedback" to you means only positive criticism, it ain't feedback no more ain't it?

If everyone thinks like you, every company in this world would be happy that no one voiced out or even complained cause everyone is doing a damn fine job.

I believe TM at some point revised their plan and they too will revise their existing customers plan to follow suite. Either that or they would adjust the price according to the new plan.

So far only DIGI that I know of does not want to revise existing user plan. Which actually if I'm not mistaken, there is a consumer law stating that if a service provider revised it's plan, they have to adjust for the existing consumers as well... can't remember which act already but I guess those who don't study law really suckered up at "As per contract" mindset. It's under the consumer pricing act I think.

Well noisy customer normally will be advised to MNP to their better selection Telco. It's not that we admit our mistake, just there's no point arguing on matter that very subjective. If you're tied with contract, you should know pros & cons of it. Just pay the penalty & leave is the best option.

Just noticed earlier tonight that the Ramadhan Internet Promo (3GB per month + unlimited 1am-7am quota + music freedom for RM35/month) that I'm subscribed to on my Digi prepaid number had it's quota for 1am-7am slashed to a paltry 3GB. Previously it was something like 10GB and before that when I first subscribed to the promo it was something like 15GB (not really unlimited la). But still, rather surprised and of course frustrated to see the off peak quota slashed suddenly like that. They even still call it 1am-7am UNLIMITED...talk about misinformation sad.gif

Sometimes Digi gives the impression it really hates its prepaid customers and wishes they'd all go away.
