I've already asked in the "Recommend me a..." sticky but thought I'd post here to get a more accurate answer.

I've been recommended the U41-70 and did a little digging around and came across the Asus. Specs seems just as nice but I can't find a proper review for it - mostly youtube unboxing etc etc. Or if there is a review, it's by some random dude.

Based on the reviews I've read on the U41, it all seems to agree that the screen is lackluster. I can't find anything on the Asus though. Atm favouring the Lenovo since I think the ram upgrade would be cheaper. Need 8 GB at minimum. Read that the latest gen would be expensive. However, the bit about the screen being shite kinda scares me. I need to test an actual unit.

Seems that I'm paying about RM 50 extra for an SSD but an older architecture. Not too bothered about that particular bit tbh. The SSD "upgrade" is kinda sweet though.

I'm horrified to hear stories about Asus' warranty. How real is this and is it wise to keep away from the brand due to this?

Would be great if I could have the following sorted out:

1 - Anyone has experience with both?
2 - How much would it cost to upgrade to 8GB of ram for the Lenovo?
3 - How much would it cost to upgrade to 8GB of ram for the Asus?
4 - Would it be possible to add SSD for the Asus? If so how much?
5 - How is the build quality?
6 - Did I miss any other models? Needs to be light and slim with a standalone GPU. Not willing to increase budget any higher since I discovered these two models at such an affordable price point.
