Please avoid from buying your funitures, wardrobe from this company, KIANZO DESIGN (002108478-V). Their address (as shown in the receipt) is located at Lot 53, Batu 11, Jalan Cheras, 43000 Kajang.
This is my story.
06-Mar-16: I bought a wardrobe from their the My Home fair in Setia Alam Convention Center. They seemed to be professional in the service and their wardrobe captured my attention. So I went ahead and pay the 30% deposit using my credit card. All of my requests were written into the bill.
12-Mar-16: The first disconnect is the manager of the company is demanding for the full payment and mentioned that they can make the delivery on the 19-Mar-16. He requested a full payment through online transfer to their company account, which I did not want to. This is because I want to be sure that I get the product on the spot and that the salesman agreed that payment can be made with the same credit card on the day of delivery.
19-Mar-16: Made a full payment through credit card. The manager arranged that the transportation and installation to be on site at 4pm, ended up they reached at 5.30pm - that's 1.5 hours wait for me. OK, when they reached my home, the wardrobe compartments they deliver didn't match with what I ordered. I called up the Kianzo Design manager to complain and there starts the blaming game. The furniture company is blaming their manufacturer for building the incorrect compartments. So the transporter took back the wardrobe compartments. Requests for the next delivery on the 31-Mar-16.
31-Mar-16: Was told the delivery is at 3pm, ended up the transportation reached at 5pm - 2 hours of wait. OK, the wardrobe and compartment looks good and installation was in progress. On the last piece of wardrobe (at the side of it), they took the incorrect piece. The piece is not able to match the wardrobe correctly. So again, I called the Kianzo Design manager to explain this problem. The manager came to my house to inspect the issue and he's pointing the problem to the transporter. He said that they took the incorrect piece. Arrange again on the 04-Apr-16.
03-Apr-16: Said will come at 4pm, waited till 5.30pm. Another long wait. The new installer came, and found out that there are missing holes for the side panels. Really disappointed. Now they have to use some kind of screw (big head thin body) to screw the side panels.
04-Apr-16: The "sou hou" or the wardrobe finisher came to patch up the sides and the empty spaces left between the wall and the ceiling. Again, promised 9AM but came at 11AM. To my disappointment, they did not have the complete set with right measurement for board to cover the sides of the empty space. Terrible. They are arranging for another day to come.
What I had lost are 2 days of my annual leaves, each appointment need to wait for them for at least 1.5 hours, frustrations of getting the incorrect product, the inconvenience of not having a wardrobe for weeks because of the company's mis-coordination since they outsourced all the job (manufacturing, transportation, patching) to outsiders.
The recently had fair in the Shah Alam Convention Center, and also the Midvalley. If you are so unlucky and bought some furniture from them, then good luck. If you do, I hope you don't end up like my case, where you will be beaten around the bush and wasted a lot of your time being fooled around.
