i would really recommend you to check your task manager just in case there is a driver utilities is leaking memory or hogging cpu resources. try to update all driver to the latest one from the manufacturers website, not windows update. my pc right now is being plagued by Killer LAN utilities CPU hog as well but no updates available right now...
