1.-you need R2 account to redeem it
2.-check the expiry date, some have it

*For R2 codes like you mention, user need to create a dummy european address email for psn, then you can reedeem the code...

*look at the code leaflets, sometime they put expiry date at the coupon... for your case, for safety you need to consider it expired after so many years

how about you create your own R2 psn account, then try to redeem the code... *after you enter the code, it will ask if you want to proceed the process.., than you will know whether the code is good or not
