So wat games u guys looking forward next?? of mayb we can hav someone hosting a own private lan party? or just mayb we can plan some gothering once awhile go out for a tea and discuss bout games or other things beside game. coz all the while we all only see each other during gaming time. hehehe... or mayb we can setup our own club. especially for Xbox360 onwer.

why not once a month owners bring their xbox 360 to gather at one location and make the worlds first mass xbox 360 system link play.. just imagine even 50 xbox 360s at one location at the same time will surely show MS how serious local gamers here are..

We need a good venue..n but be air cond of course. maybe a cyber cafe that have widescreen LCD's.

we ask gameaxis to sponsor us la... find a hotel ballroom at a gd location wan and hav that event during sat and sun. hav a few competition as well... hmm.. like WE X (PES 7), GOW, Lost planet, fight night, NFS Carbon and etc.

cyber cafe kinda closed up venue... since cineleisure is still new and lotsa empty space, maybe we can do something there.. Golem Battles anyone?

If location i can help ask about Mid Valley and Ikano, but these 2 places kinda tight..

and who is gonna pay ah?

we need solid electrical power supply & voltage stabilizers to pamper those 50 power bricks. ask tnb to sponsor

lol.. no need for the tnb electrical trucks la.. if its a shopping complex or cyber cafe, they already have adequate power... i sponsor additional power regulators

everyone chip in 50 bucks for rental of tables and chairs is enough.. location must get a low traffic place or some place that needs promotion.. cannot do in those high density shopping malls cause the last event i went to in mid valley costs RM15k just for the deposit...

hey... that is a good idea. the school hall mayb cheaper than those shopping complex and hotels. plus a lots of parking space too... but the electricity i affraid is an issue.

just ask some of the related club (inside private school) host it ...

i remember like about 7-8 years back, we used to play CS on astro's server... we had 2-3 servers to play on and even had an astro clan..

MMU can arrange for free location to play in? Since its a uni, power shouldnt be a problem and space should be plentiful.. but anyone there currently?

in MMU, i used to be organizing committee in carnivals, never heard about they complaining about power when organizing Lan Party (as far as I know la...). But that one only use around 20 Monitor and 20 CPU on avarage. Not sure if console gaming.

Hmm....maybe we can organize something like Biggest Xbox 360 Lan Party in Malaysia and put that in Malaysia Book of Records. MMU love this kind of promotion.

but now, if we want to realize this, we have to search someone who is still studying in MMU so that he/she can become our "inside person". hehehe. I think most of us is already working.

which means Gamer's Hideout Sdn Bhd "Might" be scheduling one event on this.

but the thing is we have to calculate stock items (means getting screens, speaker and wiring too [voltage and RJ 45 LAN cables]

and As well as location is a big issue to us too.

Maybe this year Gears Of War is on the list, just a wild guess.

Well the Cyber Games is considered the "Olympics" of gaming in my mind thats bull...yes the amount of skill is undoubtedly of the highest caliber...the greatest players in the world go up against one another but the fact that consoles are regarded as secondary here ticks me off. Yes there were console games at the WCG but DOA 4 AND nfs??? Cmon....if they do not put Gears on this years event it just proves the PC gmer biasness.

Actually DOA4 and Halo series (1 & 2). They choose the most popular game of the year i think,. So IMHO in 2007 the game that will be choosen are GoW & Halo 3.

And one more thing why Malaysia never send team in console game (xbox)?.

IF WCG decides to get GOW in their competition schedule there are guys here who would easily fit the profile of a pro gamer....(Jaylike, Ghostdevice, Mav3tan, Quaker, Firearms, gnome are all deadly examples, there are even more)
