the battery bar fluctuates during firing due to battery sag as it tries to show you the battery's capacity in real time, since it's being discharged while you're firing.

if it fluctuates between +/- 0.03 at most it's acceptable, since to be reading ohm down to that scale you'd need micro ohm meters which costs a buttload more than what we pay for our mods or ohm readers. but of course while not being perfect, if you see the ohm jumping by +/- 0.10 or more something is either loose, or messed up.

you're pretty spot on on the velocity comment, there are some minor shavings in diameter and height as well on the v2 but if you're happy with your v1 and not a squonker, stick with it. but if you're a squonker, how anal sending your rda to catfish for a bf mod has become might just push you to get the velocity v2 lol

the goldie is surprisingly good from what my friends stateside (that has similiar vaping style as me) has told me, and with bmi their main appeal has always been their durability. but still doesn't justify how people are willing to pay 3-4 times the original price for one. (which made me and my friends that owned their v1r4 box mods flip ours at 800-900usd to said idiots, lol)

what. lol but in all seriousness, give squonking a try. it's surprisingly convenient if you don't care for tanks like me and if gennies offer too little airflow and reo mods aren't the only ones that you have to get these days if you're into squonking. my main gripe with squonking is the aesthetics of the mods on offer these days I guess, why I never stuck with it. (as sexy as my vaporflask squonker was)
