QUOTE(irenic @ Apr 5 2016, 06:03 PM) my cousin just bought from celcom.. she paid RM2698 for device and RM84.80 for 1st bill upfront payment.. Meaning first month bill will auto deducted RM84.80. what if i already have the postpaid plan? the 80 bucks plan with 5+5 gb data and unlimited calls and sms, then can i just grab the phone?she got 32gb micro sd and hotel voucher worth RM500 as free gift. |

saw a complaint about the phone not functioning properly after coming in contact with water. is this a normal thing? doesnt it defeats the purpose of being water-proof or resistant in that manner?

QUOTE(antt00 @ Apr 11 2016, 08:08 AM) From what i read it is water proof but there will be water leftover in the usb ports that will prevent charging (protection from shorting) and speaker grill (distorted sound). Once the water dries/evaporated or you remove it (like that person blows into it) it will be back to normal. So it is still functioning properly. i believe the charging port if its wet will automatically not charge even if connected due to safety purposes. but it is just the speaker thing though. however if it is easily managable by blowing into it then i guess shouldnt be a problem at all. |
