Samsung Internet is definitely the fastest browser for S7 Edge. It benches much higher on most browser benchmark.

I am going to get a screen protector. Already saw a few hairline scratches on my phone.

QUOTE(irenic @ Apr 4 2016, 08:42 PM) i'm quite frust with my s7 edge signal. it always decided not to connect to wifi due to poor connection (it say so) but my other phones all connect flawlessly with the same wifi. 5Ghz is weaker than my Note 3.anyone here think their s7 edge signal is pretty bad compare to other phone? 2.4Ghz is the same. |

QUOTE(Asgaard @ Apr 9 2016, 05:07 PM) Home button Crack. Not a new thing, they just market old stuff as new apparently.Bring to service centre. They say no 1 hour fix as promised. Ask me bring back the phone tomorrow Shitty so called galaxy buttler service for s7 edge. It has always been 1 hour service even for my older Samsung devices IF they have ready stock of the parts. |

QUOTE(un_id @ Apr 10 2016, 08:37 PM) Not sure how many of u will agree with me, but i wish samsung use steel/aluminium material at the back of this phone. I prefer it over glass anytime You can't have wireless charging on a metal back phone currently. With glass panel at the back; first it does not give luxury feel, second it felt fragile, third its fingerprint magnet and i hate it when it gets sweaty..wrong decision, samsung.. i hope on Note 6 they will not use glass back panel Metal back is much more durable anyway. |

QUOTE(RedDevils88 @ Apr 13 2016, 09:46 AM) Condensed mode made everything smaller and easier on the eye. We only got this mode since the update yesterday? How long have you been using this mode? It's there all the while but the menu is hidden from the settings app.I only notice the lock screen blue bar is fixed. |

QUOTE(Username8118 @ Apr 15 2016, 10:59 AM) Hi everyone, Probably a defect with your unit. Just send it in for Warranty.I'm terribly disappointed with my new S7 Edge. On Sunday night as usual I plugged in my phone for it to charge. The next morning I noticed that there were purple or greenish areas on the screen. Brought it to the service centre on Monday, they said it's probably my fault for charging it overnight. They were telling me I shouldn't have overcharged it and should've removed it from the charger at 100%. I was dumbfounded, so I took the phone back and emailed Samsung for confirmation. And they replied the same thing! The phone's gone from bad to worse now. When I switch it on I can see that the backlight is active but there's nothing displayed. Have no choice but to send it in now. Not sure whether or not I get to claim warranty for what has happened. Happy to hear people's views on this. CODE [@eddmecha] CODE [@pendekar7] Might want to be more careful charging the phone overnight [attachmentid=6390336][attachmentid=6390337][attachmentid=6390341][attachmentid=6390345][attachmentid=6390350] Edited: Sorry not sure how to use the tag function Well, if Samsung blame you for overcharging. Get them to replace the mainboard as a proper phone shouldn't overcharge. |

QUOTE(minde @ Apr 15 2016, 05:12 PM) hey s7 edge and new android user, quick question. is there a way to close all background app but leave some app remaining running? No need to close them. No significant difference in battery life and performance. eg: im using spotify, then wanna close background app so i select "close all app" in the background view, it also closes spotify. anyway to exclude spotify from closing? |
