I mainly root for restoring those backup and remove bloatware and tweak for battery life. Leaving the custom rom scene for quite sometime already because its just too time consuming :

If too tight suggest dont do it, sim card pin/connector is easily spoilt and will have no sim problem intermittent. Mine problem is using cheapo cut sim adapter and cause the connector spoilt

Over the years i tried few gen of note and s series have different build, some wobby and some rock solid. Nevertheless all work flawlessly until i sold off still work great. Sometime just the new device syndrome keep checking for potential defect here and there , my advise if there isnt any big problem like dead pixel, speaker no sound, device randomly reboot etc just enjoy the device as the syndrome will go away after few weeks
