Talk about the gear vr, I found this revieW
http://youtu.be/yPOKznaHZQw

Anyone with gear vr can try the Jurassic park app?
Does it really clear like what it show in the video?

Thanks in advance

It's very hard to show you how it looks like in a video, like showing you how a 3D movie in the cinema would look like on a normal 2D TV. Only way to know is to try it, but I guess display units don't have good demos. It's definitely not HD 720p/1080p or whatnot.

Eh, I disagree. Some people like playing games with the Gear VR (which from A LOT of comments that I've read, is a lot more immersive than VR Box). Stuff like Dreadhalls (horror game) is pretty immersive despite the limitations of the display. Some people like being able to simulate watching a movie in the cinema (imagine having a huge screen in front of you and you're in the cinema with seats all around you).

To each their own, I guess.

i mean dont waste money straight jumping to Oculus.
not much diff VR Box & Gear VR. same concept. im telling this bcos i can run Oculus app using VR Box. if ppl really into it, then buy Gear VR. else, VR box is suffice.

I think it's pretty unfair to say the VR Box and the Gear VR are similar. Judging from what I've read the VR Box has a significantly smaller FOV compared to the Gear VR, and if anything merely a google cardboard in a plastic case. The Gear VR isn't just an empty case with lenses on it; it has a custom inertial measurement unit for rotational tracking.

While google cardboard is an introduction to VR, it's no where near as immersive. (My cardboard arrived yesterday, lol)

oculus is an improvised google cardboard dedicated for samsung with own app store. the concept is same. is just more comfortable, user friendly (buttons, usb, fan, etc). is like gold class seat cinema vs standard seat. same movie, diff treatment.

Apologies if this has been asked before, but is the Spigen Crystal Shell case compatible with the Ultimate Shield screen protector? Just want to make sure before I purchase this case. smile.gif RM 129 on 11Street, cases also not cheap these days. shakehead.gif

I'm not short sighted. I guess I'm expecting the quality to be like EVF on camera.

I'm not the only one who found it blurry though, we were are Samsung's event and experiencing the Gear VR.

Why not consider HTC Vive?
So far it's the most high end VR available and have since received many praise from all over the world.

Food mode is so fake and horrid.

Just shoot with normal auto mode.

But yeah.. the S7 works great to shoot food.

Try to inspect the screen of your old phone (without sp) carefully under reflective light.. sure u will see small2 scratch. They are not visible on normal usage.. even now this S7e having gorilla 4 glass, still can scratch.. the old phone for sure scratch..

maybe some people are not really into detail, so such scrstch considered no scratch.. hard to be a perfectionist.. sad.gif
*
yes there is, that i why i said there is no apparent visible scratch. im ok with it. lol
