Anyway, how to test full speed of the microSD card on the computer, please advice... u can test directly on device using various apps avail at GPs. my result is good above minimum write spead of 10MB/s for UHS1. urs shud at least minimum 30MB/s write speed. try SD Insight app to check authenticity. make u sure u know what u doing when using package disabler. else just leave all apps there. actually it doesnt make any big difference to batt power usage. im using this just to disable some redundant apps by google.

QUOTE(RedDevils88 @ Apr 12 2016, 11:58 AM) read from XDA that disabling "game service" helps with gaming experience. but i feel that it's the same game service actually is game optimizer/tuner which will optimize certain games. i believe samsung knows best.

QUOTE(kennysik88 @ Apr 13 2016, 09:59 AM) My fingerprint cant direct unlock the phone after the update. It prompt me for pin unlock every time it scanned my fingers. Anyone experience it? its due to MM security policy if device locked using 3rd party app. to prevent this, always lock ur device using power button or use 'Screen Lock Pro'. Best for Nova gesture lock so far bcos it has Smartlock & nexus imprint. the cons it will delay the lock ard 3-4 secs after screen off.

QUOTE(lookie @ Apr 13 2016, 10:51 AM) third party screen locks apps will cause this. this "feature"(read: bug) has been around since last year and ppl has been complaining since nexus 6p time. but google just sat on their asses and pretend dunno. the few screen lock app that claim compatibility with the nexus imprint system is not really compatibility, just clever hacks. such as shortening the timeout period to as low and possible and put on a dark overlay and basically just let the screen timeout and lock itself. (which is why screen lock pro for eg, says need 10+ secs to lock the phone) cleanest solution is to root, then you'll have several options. its not google bug but more like enhance security feature imho. it doesnt affect previous fw. lock screen pro doesnt really takes 10+ secs on s7e at least. it only took 3-4 secs which is OK as long unlock with fingerprint can be used without locking/unlocking using classic way

QUOTE(lookie @ Apr 13 2016, 11:50 AM) can you imagine any scenario where allowing fingerprint security here instead of pin will cause a security problem? google themselves touted the convenience and security of using imprints. if google is really worry about security, they should have disallowed third party screen lock app from accessing "device admin" setting altogether. to me it's more an oversight on google side. anyway it doesnt really affect be coz i use trusted devices to unlock. btw, the 10+ secs is quoted by the app author himself in the settings screens, so it's not i made it up device admin is not merely for putting device on lock. eg: remote admin (wipe, etc) when using corporate exchange svc. on authorized access ofcos. the security concern here if the app itself can manipulate ur fingerprints for other nasty purpose. dev trying to play safe by quoting 10+ secs. i've tested it wont take that long.

QUOTE(RitzyHoke @ Apr 13 2016, 12:01 PM) Eee, malas leh. I'll continue observing for a few more days and see if there are any changes. It wasn't like this a few days ago :/ configuring device frm scratch is really PITA nowadays. not like years ago where adrenaline is on top level to root, modify, reconfigure
