so BooMer86, what does ur friend intend to use this new car for?

1) personal highway frequent travelling for business trip? FC & reliability is most important... (vehicle should be larger in saize for a more stable drive)
2) personal city drive to & fro from work? FC & maneuvourbility is important... (smaller car usually has the upper hand)
3) Family car (how many family members)? vehicle size is important

all these will actually determine the choice of car type in the 1st place...

Bloody good deal I tell ya. My apt building has 2 new 4/4's ever since this offer came about; all new registrations. And in Penang, at least 30 Smarts have been sold thanks to this. Can you imagine Smart sales beating Proton? sweat.gif

Ya lor... i once saw a series no less than 10 units of Smart for 2 gathering at somewhere near Padang Kota... for TT session i guess... they look extra cute when all parking together... biggrin.gif

for joking... yes... but if back to reality, Honda/Toyota still win in terms of established service centers, parts are easier to come by, even more non-official workshop has better know-how to repair...

sorry to be sounded like a busybody... u not married yet? if i read the posts correctly, u got an alternative car owned by ur gf/wife to be rite? waja? smile.gif

IMHO, the Waja can be ur family car for near future... just get a relatively more "popular" city/vios/sentra.... mainly for ur personal usage 1st... when time come, let say 5 years down the road, u can trade off the Waja & really look for a REAL better Family car (Altis,Civic,Optra,etc)... smile.gif
