xbox got no internal battery....
once u install the dashboard, hopefully ur xbox is connected to ur streamyx router, enable internet time sync on ur xbmc....
i cant personally tell u where coz i dont have mine with me right now...
although u already enable time sync through streamyx, everytime u shutdown the xbox including the power point, it will reset ur xbox time to the manufacturing date of the xbox, its it the bios...
u cant do anything much bout that...
hope this helps, u'll get used to it as i did, as most of all xbox v1 did...
happy xbmc-ing..
oh, get the latest xbmc with mc360 skin...
i'm using the xbox360 system blade skin on my xbmc...its cool....
Thanks for clearing things up. I think the XBMC I download was quite recent, compiled by BLINGBLING 2006-11-29 - pre 2.1 release. mc360 skin and colour schema is quite hard on my eyes (especially the fonts) so I am sticking with the default gotham skin.
Currently I haven't link my xbox to the net yet, just my local LAN for me to FTP stuff but I think should not be a problem. Now the time/date and need to sync with a NTP server seems to be design flaw (might as well just dump the set date and screen option on the original xbox dashboard altogether as it serve no purpose
