It's not that. Depends on how you spec. If you speced for PvP, you gonna suck on PvE raids. PvP spec has more damage but only for a short period. Raids are long period battles especially bosses. You are a lot more mana efficient if you speced for PvE. That's the difference.

Thaddius/4h is all about the raid or I should call it "Teamwork". Anyone that is dreaming or lagged on Thaddius could kill the raid. One wrong move on one of the divided "Teams" for 4h will spoil that fight, especially letting the tank die on Morgraine or leaving the tank being meteored on Thane at the wrong time. It's not gear dependant at all. Even with 4/9 Dreadnaught, there are a few times that our tanks got the taunt resisted 3-4 in a row which is retarded. I won't have that problem if I have a tank with proper gear though. There are some "backup taunts" for warrior.

Mmorpgs are always class/gear > spec > skill for PvP.

skill > gear > spec for PvE.

An average player with best gear could beat a good player with 1 tier behind gear. Don't believe it? Try fighting dps classes at tier3. This game's itemization sucks for non-dps class.

I beat full tier3 mage with Atiesh(PvE speced) and Warrior with Might of Menethil(PvP speced) with my priest(PvE speced) because of my class advantage. I've done 5 rounds against any class.

If a mage with tier3 with atiesh speced arcane power, I won't have any chance to beat them because it's too cheesy. Getting sheeped eating 5k fireball crits is not something that needs skill. Warlocks could kill you with 1 deathcoil combo at this gear level too. Rogues that speced PvP with double trinket plus tea has zero chance for priest to win if they are not PvP speced.

Any dps class now outdps heals too. Priest's main strength is healing if you are not shadow. I have to heal till oom or no chance to heal at all at tier3 level.

Don't talk about skills if you don't experience the damage from dps class at tier3.

Gear definitely > skill now. Any mmorpgs don't need skill anyway.

I already started playing cs and sc again after retiring for more than 3 years. No point wasting my damn time playing competitively on WoW cause gear of classes spoils the class balance it used to have last year.

Killed Viscidus before? It's horde ez mode on this one but I did it. Infact Razorgore is easier for horde.

Kill Viscidus and Razorgore then if you think alliance got many easy fights. Horde has advantage on those bosses.

The player development on every server also affects the world server firsts. Not all servers can kill the strongest boss in the game at the fastest pace.

Thaddius was very hard due to lag because Illidan was on old hardware. Thaddius is super easy after they upgraded our server.
