In accordance to darklight79's How to Spot a Good Protein, this supplement meets criteria mentioned in the post. Having Premium Whey Isolate as first ingredient, 0g carbohydrate, 0g fat, 23g protein out of 26g serving size and costing RM 2.59 per serving from MuscleManiaClub, this seems like the perfect protein supplement to go for on paper. So my question is, has anyone tried this supplement before? Or rather, is there something bad about this supplement that I have missed? Or is there any other better protein supplement to go for other than this? Please feel free to enlighten me should I missed out anything.

Thank you for your response Dr. Chris!

I just noticed the 414 mg of L-Glycine in it. Should I worry about it?

If it's naturally occurring it's fine. As long as it's not added glycine.

Yeah man. 26g/5lbs(2267.96) = 87 servings. Sounds nice huh? Anyway, thanks for the replies lads. I'm going for this. Was able to find a cheaper seller at EjiNutrition too. All is good!

Can't look at it that way entirely. Best to count the cost per serving.

Check this out. Don't have to go for the As if those are too expensive, but that's a bonus. I'd take anything until B, but not B-

MyProtein got sold locally at aminostation.com

My take is EU brands have stricter manufacturing regulations..

How legit is their lab test?

Btw, muscle pharm combat powder is on B which is also known to have amino-spiking issue.

So, you might need to think twice on B-grade stuff.

Aw shucks.

Anyway, the investors into Labdoor and the company background looks legit enough. I think the question would be on how updated it is.

Of course, it'd be good to add in another line of defence, such as consumerlabs or bb.com reviews.

They can't realistically be testing all products in the market.

ON is reputed.

Thinking about getting ON Gold Standard as well. Not far off between each other costing RM2.60 per serving as opposed to RM2.59 per serving for UN IsoCool.

ON is good from what I heard. One of few brands that have their own whey manufacturing facilities (its parent company Glanbia is Europe-based). Other brands just buy and repack their stuff.

I'm on ON. Reliable brand laugh.gif

I think it's best to pay that extra RM0.01 for that peace of mind.
