Hi all, seeking help. I have an iPad 3 (aka the new iPad) and here is what happened:

1. I did not recharge in time so the iPad battery drained and power is out, I probably have left it for 1 day with the drained battery.

2. After I found out, i then tried to charge it using the ac adapter: the white iPad logo will show up for 22s = 25s and then screen went black again, and this logo shown and gone loop continuously.

3. I googled for some solution
a. Some advised to enter into DFU mode and let it charge for 24hrs. I tried, after 24hrs, still the logo loop.

b. Some advised to enter into DFU mode and do restore. I tried, but the iPad is turned off just before itune start the restore and unable to detect iPad.

c. Some advised that while charging, keep pressing both and hold both Power and Home buttons whenever white logo is shown to force turn off the iPad, repeat for 10min. I tried and it didnt work as well

d. Some advised to use the 12w power adapter, I tried, still same logo loop.


Any advise how to fix the ipad?

i guess no one here , better post it at ipad thread

keep on plug in plug out. try and error. if u are lucky it'll work. kena like that once last 3 years with my 4s.
