That is my intension to let others learn better tips so that when we complain, CS won't treat us like just another person making complain and forget about it. They must remember we are paying for their service not vise-versa.

ibnuasad, dun worry I won't delete it unless MOD request / what I posted is illegal.

Your message is okay. Basically what you have done is you have shared your experience in dealing in such situations which may be helpful for others as well. That's the function of the message board as its basically a place for users to share and ask

if i remember correctly, there's some reta-d told me that maxis has been monitoring this site. well, i do not recall which reta-d it is but if you read from post 1 to thousand in Maxis WBB thread, you'll find that reta-d post.

i'm just re-saying what he posted. i know it sounds reta-d but what'd you expect from reta-d?

bro fr your speedtest, it shows tat u are using your iPhone to surf rite?

how is the "ease of use" ?

and can u use it as a modem to connect your laptop to surf?

thanks
*
Yes , I am using iPhone to surf the internet. Maxis' 3G iphone package comes with 500MB of data. Its nice to surf LYN (of course I have to disable images and such).

The ease of use , well its fantastic ! - I am just loving it

Oh , I have not tried DUN. I heard the new Firmware 3.0 - the next generation iPhone software unlocks it

a 3G IPhone main function is Video Calls rite?

as far as i knoe, Iphone cannot be use to "bridge" the internet connection to a PC/Laptop
this Apple marvel is not cable/bluetooth freindly cause they are afraid tat third party connection will somehow make them no so "original"

come on man, IPhone users pls post something to clarify this tongue.gif

It doesn't even have a front camera. 3G (HSDPA) is solely used for data . Basically its a 2G phone + 3G connection

i thought iphone 3g can't be use as broadband modem (connects it to PC by data cable)..

http://www.celcom.com.my/cep/storm/why.html

Possible , after you have JB'ed it (jailbreak) So in other words it doesn't work out of the box !

QUOTE(ibnuasad @ Apr 30 2009, 01:10 PM)
"Product-i" is probably some china clone phone. It's just another marketing blab by Celcom to reel in customers.

Currently only Maxis has the non-exclusive rights to sell iPhone in Malaysia.
*
Its iPhone. They are just showing that their product (blackberry + celcom) > Maxis' iPhone 3G

Blackberry does rock , but the problem is the browser sucks and it has no wifi. whereas for the iPhone the browser rock and text messaging/e-mail sucks

Is it true that you can't do P2P on Maxis 3G unlimited plan? I heard they closed all the ports, even with VPN also no use.
*
They block , but its still possible to do. I am sure some of us are using it to torrent their latest dosage of animes and such !
Its Maxis Broadband that blocks everything !
