I dont know bout u guys, but I'm getting speeds with my Blackberry Bold as tethered modem through the BIS unlimited Data plan by Maxis 3G. Currently what I do with my connection:

1) Play online EVE MMORPG
2) Download from torrentflux MX510 (speed around 300kb/s)
3) Watch Youtube and online videos (www.myshoju.com)
4) Work related transfers... with assistances like IDM

And the good part is I can still pick up my calls, only BIS functions will not be activated when I'm in modem mode.

Right now I'm at Hartamas, connected through my BB as a modem. Here's the speed reading. It may vary when ure tooo indoors like I am right now

DL: 516 kbps
UL: 250 kbps
latency : 164ms
