Is it true that you can't do P2P on Maxis 3G unlimited plan? I heard they closed all the ports, even with VPN also no use.

Let me explain more if you guys are confusing about the plan. Last two days ago I subscribed Maxis 3G unlimited without voice plan(data plan only) for RM99/mth, but you need to put RM100 upfront as depsoit. They'll give you another new sim card which's only for data, you have to pay RM15/mth if you want additional sim card.

another rm15 for voice or data or voice +data... rclxub.gif

Should be voice + data, not sure coz I didn't ask. If you only apply for data plan, the 2nd sim card should be for data only since you don't have any voice plan.

Lol yes you need to go REAL Maxis centre instead of *authorized dealer* shops. Coz last time I went to Maxis at Kepong(authorized dealer), ask them got 3G unlimited without voice, they said got. Then I asked about the multisim, they said no idea about this multisim thing.

Later I went to the real Maxis centre at TTDI, ask one guy there about the 3G unlimited without voice, he said no I must have postpaid in order to use it, I was like wtf. I asked him to look for staff that more familiar with this package, eventually one guy that actually knows what's going on about the package came over and talked with him, then all settled.

i juz bot this router last wk ( rm150 ) i guess the maxis modem is supported but not the MF622, whereas the newer ZTE USB Stick is supported too. My advice is tat u ask the seller to goggle your modem's model b4 purchasing.

But I checked the HW550-3G's online manual, and it states MF622 is compatible, maybe I need to bring along the MF622 just to confirm? Where did u buy for RM150?

I've been stuck at 113.210.127.XXX IP range, this IP range sux, and I've to reconnect million times in order to get other ranges of IP.

Anyone know is that any way that I can get other IP range more easier?

The thing I used to get 122 IP range quite easily last time, and somehow I can only get 113.210 IP range recently, very annoying.

I can't connect to VPN if using this 113.210 IP range, everyday have to waste time to reconnect until get the IP that I want, sometimes it's like stuck with 113.210 IP range forever.

U guy can get other IP range beside 113.210.127.XXX? I've enough of this sucky IP range and if I'm stuck witht this IP range, I'll terminate the Maxis 3G. I wonder if I go complain to them will solve my problem or not.

You wouldn't want to get  113.210.255.xxx, it is even worse. I disconnect 10 times also still get 255, it is damn annoying and slow speed. doh.gif

As long as it's started from 113, it sux to max.
Reconnecting for the whole morning I'm still stuck at the shitty 113.210.127.XXX, really piss me off. vmad.gif

Anyone here can answer me that does every Maxis 3G sim card lock with certain IP range? I've been stuck at 113.210.xxx IP range, used to get 202.122.xxx IP range early this year, but few months ago I didn't get it anymore.

I wonder that possible to ask them to change the IP range for my sim card.

Also I'm using MF622, does it have any firmware that I can flash it and benefit the 7.2mbps speed?
