in a way yes, cause it hav LAN ports at the back of the modem which u can connect it to a wifi router

but if u are using a USB modem, there are various USB Modem routers which are small in size ( very mobile ) and cheap too ( rm145~rm165 ) thumbup.gif
*
Any link to the USB modem router? I'm interested too. Then I can have internet access on my phone without having to subscribe for a separate data package.

Tried all three APN. Similar results, around 1MB to 1.4MB. Used to be 3MB+ early this month.

I tweet them with a link to this thread. Probably better than calling their script-reading CS.

This plan is no longer available for new subscribers though you are already a Maxis user. smile.gif
Totally unlimited, no 3GB. smile.gif

By the way, only early hours like now no issue.
WTH with Maxis?!

Early hours only people like you and me will go online, others are all sleeping laugh.gif

Actually I have tried many software to have this NLB (Network load balancing), like Multiconnect, MB Load Balance, NAT32, but none of it works on windows vista. Which drive me to upgrade to Windows 7 knowing that it will support NLB.

To enable the NLB in Windows 7, you will need to go to each the connected network, right click to see the properties -> then under Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) IPv4, select properties -> click advance -> uncheck automatic metric -> input value of 1. REMEMBER, all network connection that you want to NLB must be set the metric to 1.

How it works so far -> it seems that Windows 7 will try to full load one of the network first before loading the other one. Which one it will select is random.

Let's share your result after following the method above.

PS. I tried to do a lot of other things as well but i think the metric setting is the one that works.
See this link as well on editing the registry, but I am not sure it helps Load balance 2 internet connections. But metric setting is definitely needed.
*
After unchecking "Automatic Metric" and entering "1", it says it needs at least one IP. unsure.gif

I think your network is not connected when you change the value. Make sure the network is connected, either LAN, WLAN or your USB broadband.
*
I'm pretty sure I'm connected, otherwise I won't be able to post here.

er i can't see signal strength there..

No idea man. But then I'm not using Maxis dashboard or anything like that. I enter the APN and password in the Win7 connection settings itself, and it auto connects when I plug in the modem.

btw i use windows 7 ultimate 64bit..

No idea man. But heck care about the signal. It can be good and yet slow, or can be low and fast. The most accurate signal is indicated by your "Fuuhhh!!!" meter.

I have no idea man. I did install the Maxis dashboard though. I suppose the driver is installed together with it, instead of Win7 detecting and downloading automatically.

p.s: 9.30PM, still good not good, UMTS all the time sweat.gif . Maxis responded on Twitter, "Thanks for highlighting. Does the issue persists?".
