Getting Started

|
The topic subscription page has become the first page I go to whenever I visit Lowyat forums. And, as everybody knows, some threads can get very long. Therefore, I suggest that shortcut links next to the thread titles (e.g. jump to any page, go to last page, go to last unread post etc.) be implemented into the topic subscription page, exactly as seen during normal thread browsing. It saves users the hassle of opening the first page of a subscribed thread first before jumping to the last page.
I hope I am not giving the impression that I am a lazy bum. Any attention to this matter is appreciated. Happy New Year!

In fact, I find this suggestion to be highly handy. It is a bit tiring to open a subscribed thread, then goto its last page. I agree with yu_wang.

I've been thinking of coming up with this suggestion too.. since I keep track of threads I'm interested in.. QUOTE(stevanistelrooy @ Jan 2 2007, 05:02 AM) click on the overlapping square boxes just after the title for post that have more than 1 page, and key in the desired page you wants to view.Just click on the page number after the title. The last number is the last page these two options doesn't appear in the control panel under the subscription topics control..

yeah .. under subscription control panel there's no 'quick' button to jump to the last page or any page ...
that would be a very very helpful function ..i'm sure many ppl will find it handy for long threads that have high reply rates
